We have been boarding and training since 2013. Starting off at a large kennel, then moving to our own business in-home in 2020. Licensed (city and state kennel licence) and inspected by Department of Agricultural, our vet and Kansas City Animal control.

Heidi and Kevin are two dog lovers that will treat your pup like family. The name of their business is More Dog Than Human which I believe applies to Kevin. When he first met our dog at our home he took 45 minutes waiting for our dog to settle down to greet him. After that, we went to our back yard where Kevin acted like More Dog Than Human and started working with our dog to see if he was trainable. We sent our dog Moose for a month of training with Kevin and Heidi. The results were amazing! No more grabbing food off the kitchen counters or table. Overall our dog went from chaotic and out of control to manageable with commands that we can now control him with. Our dog is no where near perfect and will probably never be, but Kevin and Heidi shaped him into a 'keeper.' Thank you Heidi and Kevin for all you have done for Moose! My rating is A+ for training and boarding services provided by More Dog Than Human.
I cannot recommend Heidi and Kevin enough! They have been absolute game-changers for my dog Bo and me. The patience and love they have for dogs is unmatched - Bo adores them, which says everything. He has an absolute blast when he gets to go stay a weekend with them. Beyond training and boarding, they are genuinely invested in helping owners understand their pets. They have taught me so much and are always just a text message away when I need a quick training tip or even just a pep talk (therapy session). If you are looking for someone who truly cares and you can trust with your dog's life, you've found the right caregivers.
Heidi and Kevin have been boarding my dog for at least 4 years now. I would not trust anyone else with her. Not only do they board, but they are also dog trainers.

Schedule
Kevin and Heidi full time dog care and training. Potty breaks every 2-3 hours. We provide socialization with yard time and play with breaks from weather as necessary. All yard times and out times are fully supervised by a behavior specialist. Baths are options as we have an industrial dog bath.

Fully fenced yard with double gates. As well as double gates inside the home leading to outside. Separate seven hundred square foot kennel area located in-home. Epoxy floors, painted bright walls, air purification and music during noisy holidays and storms. 24 hour audio/visual monitored by trainers.

A typical day
We have early and late night potty break with meals served in kennels. Socializing and yard times throughout the day. Potty breaks every 2-4 hours.
