I grew up with dogs, cats, birds, and frogs of all different breeds as pets. I have cared for both domesticated animals and strays by housing, feeding, socializing, playing with and loving them. I've also worked in multiple animal shelters, working with both dogs and cats: walking, feeding/watering, playing with, socializing, and cleaning their pens. I've raised several dogs and cats from the time they were puppies/kittens and have done extensive reading and research on how to best teach them and train them via positive reinforcement having much success in bringing up sweet, smart, playful, loving pets. I believe each pet has a unique personality and something special to offer and interact with them accordingly to best fit their wants/needs from me. I am intentional and detailed with my care of animals, taking note of any medical and behaviors that need specific attention when I'm with them. No matter the breed, I will be sure to understand how to best give them the best care possible!

I am happy to feed/water, walk, play with, exercise, socialize, teach/train and cuddle with your pet. If there is anything your pet does not like, I will be sure to respect it. I can administer medications if needed and help with any behavior matters to the best of my ability or client direction if requested and discussed ahead of time.

Heidi did such an awesome job taking care of our dogs while we were away this weekend. She is incredibly communicative and kept us updated consistently while we were away. Next time we need someone to watch them, she will 100% be our first option!
Heidi was incredibly helpful, jumping into walk Manzy at a very late notice when we were out of town. She made it happen and made me feel so comfortable from a distance with her correspondence and pictures that Manzy was in great hands.
I needed a walker/drop-in at the last minute and Heidi saved me. She was great to the point that after only two visits I think my dogs were disappointed she wasn't coming back for a third. Great communication, photos, and feedback. 10/10

Schedule
I have a lot of flexibility with my work right now and am especially available before 2pm and after 5pm. Some weeks I have all day flexibility as my work weeks change slightly from time to time. I am able to stay in your home with your pet, do walks or drop in visits. I'm open to taking on caring for a pet(s) with little notice most of the time.
