Pet care is my daily routine. My main focus is working at the Veterinary Clinic on the military base but in my free time I would love to walk, play and watch other peoples fur babies. I plan out different ways to give my pup great enrichment activities and keep all the animals around me happy.

I am medically qualified to watch other peoples fur babies because of my experience in the veterinary field and being BCLS certified. I know what animals can and cannot eat, how their energy levels should be, and how to monitor vitals. I currently work in veterinary medicine and have plenty of experience knowing when it’s too hot outside for activity or too cold for your fur babies. I plan my day accordingly depending on the weather so that you can be at ease while I watch your fur baby. Your fur babies will be safe with me. I plan to keep the same routine for each animal as they have in their own household. If your pup/ cat eats at a specific time, walks at a certain time, has a favorite toy, has a strict command for feeding etc then I’ll do my best to keep it the same routine so it doesn’t cause any stress on your animal while you’re away! I am very flexible when it comes to the best care for your fur babies :) I treat them like family!

I only ask what you do that is special for your animal! Is there a possibility that your fur baby is shy and needs me to go slow? Is there a strict structure for your fur baby? Is there anything I should be aware about that you teach your dog or try to correct? Is there special needs I should know about? Is there any medication or allergies that should be made aware? Is your dog afraid of crowds, loud noises? I love all the fur babies equally and will send plenty of updates and pictures :)
Ein typischer Tag
A typical day will start with a walk around the neighborhood where they can smell all the new smells of the area! Then we will play around and I have lots of dog toys annd cat toys I like to bring for enrichment games to play. I also have adaptil pheromone sprays to help keep the nervous pups and if you’re worried about your kitty I have feliway as well! The sprays are supposed to mimick the smells their mothers give off while their nursing to help keep them calm.

I have been a Veterinary technician for over 5 years now, in both general practice and emergency care. Before that I volunteered in shelters caring for both dogs and cats which included feeding, grooming, walking etc. i currently am in the military and am a vet tech for the Army. I am medically qualified to take care of animals and I would love to spend my free time dog walking as I love being outside.

Heidi took amazing care of our dog and was great with communication and pictures. She even was so sweet to get him a new ball! It was such a relief knowing that our pup was happy and in good hands while we were gone.
Heidi was amazing to work with! She went the extra mile to meet up several times ahead of petsitting my dog, who’s slower to warm up to strangers, to ensure both she and my dog would be comfortable with each other while I was traveling. Would recommend her to anyone looking for care for their pets!
Heidi was wonderful with my basset puppies Freddie and Goose. She visited my home 3 times while we were on a day trip and took amazing care of them. I will definitely book Heidi again!
We can't say enough about how awesome Heidi was with our senior pup, Charlie. He has a lot of anxiety and he had just had leg surgery and Heidi was so wonderful with him. She was very knowledgeable about his needs and our minds were at ease knowing he was in good hands. He needed medications and she was on top of it, with zero issues. He was a happy boy when we picked him up! We will not hesitate to ask Heidi to watch Charlie again!
