A loving, safe home away from home!
I’ve loved animals since I was a kid, and I’ve spent 30+ years caring for them—through volunteer work at shelters, helping friends and neighbors with their boarding needs, and caring for my own pets. Over the years I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, cats, bearded dragons, and guinea pigs. My primary focus is providing a peaceful and cozy, home-style boarding experience for all pets in my care. While I welcome pets of varying energy levels and temperaments, I do specialize in those who have low to moderate energy levels, are potty-trained, and generally well-mannered as this allows me to provide a calming environment for everyone in my care.

We had a great experience with Heidi! Lots of detailed updates and photos :) Celeste had such a great time there that she’s kind of glum now that she’s back here haha! We hope that Heidi will host Celeste again in future!
So happy Heidi opened her home to our two pups for an out of town trip. When we got our girls back, they were calm and happy. Great communication and photos. Thank you Heidi, if we are back in the area we hope our girls can visit again.

Schedule
I am home full-time and I’m so excited to be able to meet some new fur friends! I do not have any other commitments so I’m available to give all the love and attention :) My two main focuses are providing the best quality care for your pet and giving you peace of mind while you're away so that you aren't stressing the whole time. I'm happy to provide regular updates and pictures as well as respond promptly should you have any questions or concerns.

Safety, trust & environment
I can provide a loving and calm environment for a slower-moving senior pet as well as fulfill the needs of a more energetic young pet by adhering to any routines and exercise needs they may have. For any pet guests that might prefer some space, I do have gates and crates but these would only be used at your request/suggestion. We do allow our fur friends on furniture and even share our goodies with them sometimes, with pet parent's approval of course. I have a 6 ft privacy fenced yard as well as a nice walking trail just outside of my neighborhood so we can go for walks as well as play in the backyard. I can also accommodate animals with medication needs, specific feeding schedules, and those who might prefer some space.
Pets
A typical day
I’m happy to accommodate the individual needs of your pet. For the high-energy fur friends that get bored easily, we will enjoy more stimulating activities (inside and outside) like going for walks, running and playing with other pet guests, or even some water fun to cool off if they enjoy that (this will typically end in a quick free bath if the pet's parent is okay with it). Alternatively, if they'd rather take it easy, snoozing in the sunshine or cuddling up on the couch getting lots of pets is a great way to spend some time. Either way, I’ll make sure they are loved, cared for, and comfortable!
