Pet care experience

Pets are family members!

Since rescuing my first hound over 20 years ago, I've fostered more than 50 dogs for a local rescue organization and only "failed" fostering twice! Both of my adopted dogs went to formal training classes so they'd learn to be good canine citizens. I currently have a 2-yr old Spinone Italiano female dog who demands 2 walks/day and lots of ball chasing. She has run of my house and furniture and my heart! I don't work at home, so after our morning walk she waits for my lunchtime visit, and for my return after work. She has a dog door with access to a fenced yard.

We felt that our girls were treated like queens! Lots of communication and made us feel at ease so we could enjoy our vacation. Heidi also did a meet and greet with us beforehand, you can tell that she loves and knows a lot about dogs!

Doggy Day Care • maj 03, 2026

Wow, my puppy Twyla wanted to stay with Heidi and Bindi forever. They never stopped playing the entire time Twyla was there. Heidi is exceedingly kind and attentive to a young pup, Bindi is super friendly, there's a dog park right down the block, dog toys abound, and there's a safe, secure yard. Such an ideal, perfect experience in every possible way, definitely a five-star rating.

Fantastic experience! Kiva had a wonderful time with Heidi and Bindi! Heidi communicated so well from setting up an initial meeting to sending text updates and photos to letting me know what happened during the two weeks. I was completely at ease. When I returned, it was clear that Kiva was happy and comfortable. She’s continued to be at ease with the transition back home. I highly recommend Heidi to care for your dog.

Heidi was god sent! My 11 month mini blue heeler Millie requires a great deal of patience and understanding and Heidi provided that and more. Heidi provided daily updates and photos and was very kind about Millie chewing all the stuffing out of Bodhi's toys ;o) Millie is still working through fight and flight mode and navigating new humans, so I truly appreciate Heidi for being understanding and caring for my nervous little girl.

Heidi was awesome. She took great care of our dog and kept us updated with videos and photos over the course of the week that we were gone. I would highly recommend her without any reservations.

Heidi is an amazing dog parent, which makes her an amazing sitter. Our “high maintenance” pup can be tough to leave, but Heidi put us completely at ease with a thoughtful meet-and-greet, daily updates with photos, and genuine enthusiasm for loving our dog like her own. We couldn’t recommend her more.

Schedule

Im a weekend dog sitter now that I work out of the house. Weekends are all about my dog-hiking, playing, and getting as much exercise as possible! I walk my dog and any boarders in the morning and evening every day. During the day, they can use dog door and access a fenced yard. My home is full of dog toys and my furniture is full of dog hair. ;)

Safety, trust & environment

I have a fenced yard. Bindi is obsessed with chasing tennis balls so we take “play breaks” to run around in the yard. She eats twice a day and is not free-fed. A couple of treats usually come her way throughout the day! Since I want to keep her safe, I do ask for your pup's proof of rabies vaccination.

Pets

A typical day

If your dog likes to play, Bindi will keep them busy with tug-of-war, wrestling, and chasing balls. On weekends I take my dog hiking in local trails or out for coffee on a patio (with a pup cup) when the weather cooperates.
