I’ve had a Siberian Husky since I was 12 years old. The only time I wasn’t her primary caretaker was the 4 years I was away at college. I’ve seen her through the puppy phases and grow into a tame napper with bursts of energy from her youth. She lived with my parents when I moved back to the city until she crossed over the rainbow at 15, but I lived with my cousins 11 year old dog before coming to Peoria. I’ve also cared for friends’ pets before. Most notably a pug puppy that eventually moved in with a Chicago Cubs player for two weeks, a dog from Jerusalem with 3 cats and a lizard and a fish for a month, and many of my friends’ animals as well.

Wonderful and so friendly! Wrigley felt very at home here, Hector made him feel comfortable and not alone. It was our first time trying this service and we are beyond amazed with Hector’s hospitality, constant care, and daily updates! He provided pictures through out the day, genuinely listened to us, and ask questions to better help him really understand Wrigley and his needs. Would definitely rebook no questions asked!
He was very attentive to our dog and very flexible with our schedule. Lots of outdoor time and pictures with updates
Hector was very responsive and kind! Our girls (2 big doggos) seemed ever comfortable and happy with him. He did his best to soothe them after many transitions for them all at once. He was also flexible when we changed dates and asked for different drop off times. He also sent me updates which was very helpful!! Thank you, Hector!
I especially appreciated Hector's frequent pictures and updates of my dog. He obviously loves animals and he did a great job!
Hector was so sweet with our dog! She went on plenty of walks and Hector kept us updated with pictures constantly- giving us peace of mind! Abbi can’t wait to see him again!
Very accommodating for your time and your schedule as well as the care and support and attention that some dogs need especially my 3lb rescue from another country and my time away was spent relaxing knowing that Hector was really the best person for my tiny dogs 🐶 care while I had a short vacation

Schedule
I currently live in downtown Peoria. Depending on your pet’s needs, I am comfortable accommodating the amount of time you’d like me to spend with them, and often have more time at home/able to travel to yours on weekends.

Safety, trust & environment
I’ve had family pets visit my place and have plenty of room to run around as well as relax. I keep an eye on them to make sure they are happy but also have the place “pet-proofed” if needed to step out. As per house visits I will stick strictly to the instructions left behind by the owner.
A typical day
I used to take clients to dog-friendly parks in the part of Chicago where I resided. I am looking forward to discovering the gems in Peoria with your pet as well. I will always appreciate a dog’s company and give them the attention they desire while catering to their schedules from home to make them feel comfortable around me or staying with me.
