I am able to watch your fury family member any weekend during the school year or June/July over the summer. I am not available: July 6-9 After July 30, I am back at school. I am available to watch your fury family member Friday (after 3:30) until Sunday evening (anytime.)

I have a pool for them to swim in and and fully fenced in area around my house. I have about 40 acres we can take leashed walks on if you would like. We do have a few cows and a horse on the extended acreage. My lab/beagle mix loves to play with dogs. She plays well with both small and large dogs.

Please let me know of any special dietary needs, behaviors to look for and any medications needed. My daughter is almost 12 so I do ask your pup be ok with kids. While I do not have experience taking care of special needs dogs, I am willing to learn with your direction and special instructions.
A typical day
We have all kinds of dog toys we use with our dog. From tennis balls to throw and retrieve to tug of war toys. We have a pool. It is a fully screened in pool. We love to swim. If you have a water loving pup, they are absolutely welcome to swim. If you want you pup to learn to swim or love the water, I would love to help. Our dog Marley was a rescue. She had two other owners before she was one. Even though she is part lab, she does not like to swim. It has taken me a lot of time the last three years to get her to enter the pool on her own. But she has made a lot of progress. Your pup will be loved like he/she is ours. I will also send videos and pics of your pup throughout the day(s) so you will know they are being loved and well taken care of.

I’ve had a dog since I was a little kid. I also have watched dogs for my friends. My two oldest daughters head off to college this August. My youngest daughter, she will be 12 in September, loves all animals, but especially dogs. I am looking for a way to have more dogs in our house for my daughter to play with. We have one dog, Marley. However, my mom lives next door and she has two dogs, Daisy and Zoe. They visit often. But when we are watching other dogs, they will not visit. Our goal is to provide a fun, safe environment for your pup while you are away.
