I have known Heather for over 25 years and found her to be an animal person to the core. She has always seemed to have multiple pets in her household at a time and I watch her as she cuddles both her cats and dogs. She is sensitive to their needs as can be seen when she takes her senior dog for walks and is aware when her dog has had enough and will end the walk to take him home. Sometimes that is only to the end of the block but she makes sure that baby is able to get out. Her empathy towards animals is apparent in her attention to every need of the animal.

Heather is incredible with animals and has been working with them her whole life. She is such a kind and respectful soul and would be a wonderful caretaker for your fur babies!

Heather has been surrounded by animal families her whole life. As an adult, she has often chosen to adopt the pet that most needed a home and then nurtured them through a long happy life. Examples of this are the orange tabby she adopted with a missing back leg who promptly became the boss.... and a beautiful lab, named Luna, adopted from a shelter as a young pup, the day before she was going to be euthanized. Luna is now 17 and still enjoying life with the family cat, Kate. Heather is a natural caregiver that animals instantly gravitate to and there's not much that scares her. She easily takes command so the pets feel safe and are easy to manage. Heather has cared for my dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters and birds with ease and competence. She's well organized, creative, strong and kind hearted. Your home and your animals will be in good hands while you're away and the long list that all of us pet parents make late into the night will be followed to a T. I have entrusted my pets to her over many years and have never been disappointed. Once you invite her to meet your pets you will see that your time away from them will be worry free and they will have a new friend. Linda W.
