As a lifelong animal lover and proud owner of two Australian Shepherd mixes, I have years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I’ve been trusted with pet care from a young age and truly enjoy building relationships with the pets I care for. My experience ranges from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need a little extra patience and attention, and I’m comfortable caring for multiple dogs at once. I offer dependable overnight care, so you can travel or rest easy knowing your pet is safe, comfortable, and well-loved in a familiar environment. I treat every dog as if they were my own.

When caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I treat both the space and the pet with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I understand how important it is to trust someone with not only your pet, but your home as well. I’m mindful of routines, house rules, and any specific instructions you leave, and I make sure everything is followed closely. I’m always respectful of personal spaces and leave your home just as I found it. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and loved — and for you to feel completely at ease while you’re away.

Heather is awesome! We moved up to the area from Raleigh and were looking for a new pet sitter for our two dogs and are so happy we found Heather. She took care of our pups and even watered our plants. The dogs were so calm when we came home. Highly recommend!
Heather exceeded all of our pet-sitting expectations! My husband and I went on a week long vacation and needed a wonderful person to care for our 2dogs, 2 cats and a garden full of flowers. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine alongside my full-time job. I’m able to provide dependable overnight care, as well as morning and evening walks, feedings, and plenty of attention outside of work hours. Depending on location and scheduling, I may also be available for midday walks. I’m thoughtful about communication and planning, so your pet’s needs are always met and you can feel confident they’re well cared for.
