I am an attentive and caring past owner of well behaved dogs. I had my best dog friend of 11 years and my Rover business partner Peabody pass away recently. After taking some time of to grieve, I am ready to get back into the excitement of living with animals again. I live tucked back into state land in an off-grid cabin. I have experience with many different sizes and types of dogs. I have worked as a dog trainer and I can easily walk and manage all sizes of dogs. I am always up for a challenge. I have cared for special needs animals in the past. In my home with my own dogs, I liked to encourage a calm environment and carry that goal into any pet-sitting job. I prioritize walks and I love spending time outdoors with the dogs. I also offer cat sitting in your home and love getting to know the cats. I am home during the week and am pretty flexible overall. I have reliable transportation. I am a friendly person and enjoy helping people. I love meeting new dogs and cats and would love to meet yours! We are a LGBTQ friendly home and are accepting of all races and nationalities.

Heather is our go-to and best dogsitter we have used. Our big Saint Bernard loves her and always has a great time when she sits, and the house is always just how we left it. Highly recommend!
Heather was an amazing sitter, very accommodating, and took extra care to get to know Noodles before the booking. Communication was prompt, and while I was on my trip, she sent the sweetest pictures/videos and updates. Overall, Noodles had a great time and received top-tier care. I would definitely recommend Heather when you need a sitter for your fur baby.
Heather was fantastic with our two Doodle pups. One very energetic 2 yr old, and a senior who needed a special cooked diet. She cared for them both as they needed. Short walks for the old lady, longer ones for the youngster. She asked questions whenever unsure about something and kept me up to date with how they were both doing in our absence with texts and photos. Heather left the house exactly as found. I definitely highly recommend her.
Heather has watched Humphrey a few times and we rebook for a reason! She is always very communicative, prompt and a pleasure to interact with...plus our Saint Bernard loves her.
Heather is amazing! She came for a meet and greet before her stay. She took in everything about the boys routine and wanted to make sure she was gonna give them an excellent visit. She left our home in a clean condition and during her stay she communicated extensively with photos and video’s showing that everyone was getting along well. We are so thankful to have met Heather and look forward to her future visits!

Schedule
I am self-employed and can devote tons of time to your animals. I usually spend my time walking in nature and love to take the pups along with me as much as possible.

I consider myself to he a highly attentive pet caregiver. When a pet enters my home, I treat them as my own. I work hard to provide a calm and stimulating environment that feels comfortable for your beloved pet.
A typical day
I wake early and walk first thing. I live right by the river so I will leash the dogs and head down to visit the water. I like to do 2 40 min to an hour walks a day. Sometimes a midday walk is needed as well. I have plenty of land to do leash walks with the dogs but sometimes will load them up into the car to do a walk at another location. I like to stay active and see lots of different environments. I love to stimulate with indoor playtimes as well. I have a whole box of toys!
