Having had dogs most of my life I've gained significant exposure and experience training, playing and just hanging out with dogs. I've been around everything from Miniature Dachsunds to German Shepherds to Mastiff's and everything in between. I'm an active person who enjoys runs, walks, hikes, etc. so exercise definitely won't be an issue for your pup.

Heather was responsible and consistently kept in touch with me sending me photos and updates about my dog. My dog clearly felt comfortable with her. She chose to sleep with Heather on the bed every night, which my dog will only do at this point in her life if she really feels comfortable with someone. My dog is older and needs medicine twice a day and needs to be taken outside more often but for short amounts of time. Heather was good about these things. One other thing that I want to mention is that I had to change plans several times last minute with the booking due to unexpected events in my life. Heather was flexible and patient with this as much as she could be and she was direct when something would not work well for her. It made a stressful time for me a lot better than it could have otherwise been.
Heather was great at processing a lot of instructions and took great care of my dog and house while I was away.
I was out of the country and had Heather come in again and sit Oakley for 9 days this time. She communicated well and left the house in a tidy order upon leaving. I would use Heather again if required. Thank you for taking care of Oakley.
Heather took care of our 13 year old dog and was absolutely amazing with him! He is normally stressed when we return but this time he was his usual self! She provided daily updates with pictures to put our mind at ease ! Highly recommend Heather for your pets!
Honestly Heather is so lovey, she treated the meet and greet like an interview, the dogs immediately were comfortable. Usually when we get back from being away even if it's just a weekend away our dogs are pretty stressed and take time to settle. We got home last night, and sure they were happy to see us but were just their normal lovely not stressed selves. I would strongly recommend Heather for any dog sitting needs.
Heather had quick responses, friendly and my dog was tired out when I got home which was great. I'll use Heather again in the near future.

Schedule
As someone who has the ability to work from home and/or bring your pup to work I can spend a ton of time ensuring the care of your dog. I also either run or walk every day and would love to have a four legged companion join me. Conveniently, there is a dog park about 20 metres from my apartment so, if socialization is important to you, then I can certainly help with that :)

Safety, trust & environment
When your pet comes to my home I can be with them 90% of the time. I can offer as many walks (or runs depending on breed & exercise requirements) per day as you feel is necessary. There is also a dog park very close to my place so I can take them there for socialization and some off leash time. The dog can either be left to roam my apartment as they want. If I come to your home, I am flexible with how often and how long I am there and what the dogs exercise requirements are. If you want me to take them to a dog park, I can put them in my car and take them wherever their little heart desires. If I'm staying in your home, I do need internet access for work.
A typical day
I would love to take your dog for a morning walk, followed by a nice breakfast and chill/cuddle time. There is a dog park near my place so we may spend the afternoon there (if approved by dog parents). I love to play games with your pup and stimulate them both physically and mentally. I'm new to Calgary so I am looking to explore some new spots around here with a four legged companion.
