I am a dedicated animal care professional and lifelong dog lover with both personal and professional experience you can trust. As a mom of five children and three dogs of my own, I understands just how much pets are truly part of the family. With a background as a veterinary technician, certified dog trainer, and former manager of a dog boarding facility, I bring years of hands-on knowledge in animal health, behavior, and safe care practices. After working in larger facilities, I chose to offer pet care from my home to provide a calmer, more personalized environment where pets feel comfortable, secure, and loved. My goal is to create a stress-free, home-like setting where every dog receives individual attention, exercise, and plenty of affection. With me, your pets aren’t just boarded — they’re cared for like family.

Heather is kind and super knowledgeable about animals. She was very accommodating with my drop off and pick up times (I had to change my pick up time last minute). You can tell she loves animals and cares for them like her own.

We had to come to the Collingwood area for a celebration of life. As we couldn’t find accommodation for a multigenerational family with a dog, our dog needed somewhere where she could be cared for. Our dog was not welcome at any recommended local kennels due to the required interview prior to accepting a booking. After providing a thorough description of our dogs character and needs, we were pleased that Heather offered her services for the weekend. Text communication was replied to promptly and questions answered. We were met at arrival, clarified one or two points about feeds and Roza headed off for an “away weekend”. A photo was provided the next morning, and it was clear that she was in good hands. Pickup was similarly well organized and at the sign over, we found out that she got along with the kittens. Who knew? Thanks for reducing some of the stress of the weekend.
Oakley seemed to have a great time with Heather. He was exhausted after spending the day. It was a last minute booking and she was flexible with times. We have never used Rover before and were a little leary sending out fur baby to a stranger but Heather was great.

We love to go hiking and swimming! And we also have a nice dog park close by that's a great place to play fetch! We also love to snuggle up on the couch or floor and watch a good movie
