Information Heather V. would like to know about your pet

Before your pup comes to stay, I love learning all the little details that make them them! Things like their daily routine, any quirks or fears, how they do on leash, and what comforts them most. Please share any allergies, special needs, or medications so I can keep their care consistent and stress-free. It’s also super helpful to know how they get along with other dogs, their favorite snacks or toys, and any “house rules” you already use at home — consistency helps everyone feel comfy! My goal is to make sure your dog feels safe, understood, and totally at home while you’re away. 💛

A typical day

Mornings start with potty breaks and plenty of tail wags, followed by cozy snuggles while I sip my coffee. Once everyone’s ready to roll, we head out to explore the neighborhood or a local park for some exercise and fresh air. After a good walk, it’s time to relax and recharge with a comfy nap. Midday is all about enrichment — whether it’s a short training session, puzzle toys, or other mental stimulation to keep those doggie brains busy! Later, we enjoy some outdoor playtime before winding down for evening cuddles and calm. Every day is structured with love, routine, and fun so your pup feels happy, comfortable, and part of the family. 🐾

Heather took Excellent care of Nola. She was attentive, understanding and made it easy for Nola to adapt to her environment and the other little ones around. Thank you Heather!

Heather was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Ponyo! She’s a sensitive and a bit (read:very) quirky pup, and I was anxious to leave Ponyo solo with a sitter for the first time after losing her brother earlier this year. Heather was communicative and attuned to Ponyo’s methods of communication. She came back better and happier than we left her. Thank you, Heather!!!
