Availability
I've been working from home since March of 2020 and I don't see myself ever commuting full time to the office again. I'm available during the week for visits or walks, preferably earlier in the day before the heat!

I'm open to walking a larger dog than listed based on the walk experience of the dog. I just want to make sure I'm able to keep ahold of them if they are pullers. I will also make sure their collars or halters are on appropriately as to not get loose. I know what it is to have finicky cats so I can very easily adjust to their needs based on personality. They may want butt scratches, they may want to play with a string or they just may simply want dinner and their box cleaned! I'm good with it all.
Information Heather T. would like to know about your pet
I have no breed preference. I just ask that you are honest about your pet's behavior tendencies: Do they like other animals? Are they shy at first? Do they tend to bolt after a squirrel upon site? Are they escape artists? Do they not like to be pet on their bellies? Are they pullers on a lead? I want to get to know them! :)
A typical day
A typical day in our household looks like an early morning walk with Captain around 7am for 45-60 minutes. That is normally followed by some breakfast and some work time for me! Depending on the heat, I usually like to take another walk by 3pm. Lots of nap time and some swimming in the pool with Tenni. We feed the dogs around 6-7pm then go for a nightly walk.

Pet care experience
Recently moved from Dallas to Fort Worth and working to rebuild my furry fanbase! I am in office most Tues and Thursdays but I can sometimes be flexible, especially in afternoon! Send me a request and we can sort it out! I'm just an animal lover. We have always had dogs and cats growing up and my mom was always very active with our 3 dogs and it translated to me! I have two rescue kitties, Mr.Big and Billie so I know what it is to scoop a litter box (or 3) like a pro! I also have a pandemic puppy - Captain, my baby boy (5) and Tenni, little girl (2) my shadow dog and first foster fail. I’ve always been involved with the rescue community, typically working events or occasionally fostering (how I ended up with 4!). I’ve also done a fair amount of behavior related work as well as fun manners training work with my own dogs so I’m very familiar with various behavior signals and body languages. Positive reinforcement only, ever! I always send lots of pictures during my visits as well as thorough updates on how your babies are doing. I get how nerve wracking it is to leave them- trust me! I trust very few with my babies, so I understand what you need to keep your anxiety at bay while on vacation. Whatever your routine is, all the details, I want it all and happy to do it!

Reviews

Heather is the best. She made fast friends with my big, shy, ball hog!

Thank you for the extra effort. Will definitely have you back.

Needed a last minute sitter to give my cat his medicine and luckily Heather came to the rescue! Thank you!

Heather was incredible! I have a very high energy dog and she really helped to make sure he got what he needed. She was very gracious about some confusion and getting the schedule just right for my dogs. Would absolutely use her any time.
