As pet owners, we know how difficult it can be to find affordable and safe pet care while traveling. We just bought a house with a fenced in yard and are looking to help some other pet parents out as well as allow our dogs to find some new play mates. We live in a great walking neighborhood and will walk your dog, as well as let him run around (supervised) in the fenced yard. Our home is smoke-free. We have two small 15-20 pound dogs and a cat that thinks she is a dog. All are up to date on vaccines and have no history of violence. They are both well behaved and friendly. One is kind of lazy and likes to just find a quiet place to rest and the other is more active and loves to play. We allow our dogs to sleep in the bedroom with us and your dog will be welcome to sleep wherever she is most comfortable. Typically, we are home for the most part of the day on weekends and on weekdays are away from the home during normal work hours but can stop home to play or let the dogs out if necessary. While we love big dogs, we would prefer to care for small to medium size dogs as this proves to be the best fit for our dogs. We will only care for a dog from one family at a time, and will accept up to two dogs from the same family depending on the size. *We will accept puppies but may limit the areas of the house they are allowed in. Why I love dog sitting I have had dogs and cats and various pocket pets since I could barely walk. I grew up caring for various neighbors' pets and then established myself in pet and house sitting with a few families here in Columbus. Now that I have my own home I am willing to host as well. About my yard We have a small fenced in back yard with a cement patio. It is mainly grass so dogs shouldn't get too dirty, but I will wash them if they do and it is okay with you. It is a perfect size for our smaller dogs with plenty of room to run. My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering medication topically or orally.
