My daily schedule is flexible. Since my own pets are adults/seniors, they are low maintenance and I welcome the opportunity to help others with their pets. My weekly planning can easily accommodate most needs, often available last minute.

A typical day
I'm delighted to walk your dog in his/her favorite area, or play in the yard, or simply play rope-tug and cuddle! For cats I'll offer as much (or as little) interaction as the kitty prefers! Every animal has different needs and level of comfort, just like us.

Thank you for visiting! I'm welcoming clients in the Stratton Farms / Newgate / Phelps Road areas of West Suffield & very close by areas of Granby CT. I keep my service area quite small in order to provide the best, most prompt care. I do two things really well: 1) love your pet 2) take excellent care of them! Happy to be active with your strong, active dog or chill with your quiet pet. Either way they will know how good and sweet they are! From unexpected late workdays, spur-of-the-moment day trips, or scheduled drop-in visits, I'm here to meet your needs. Even if you don't have a current need, I'm happy to do a free Meet and Greet with you and your pet so that we have a relationship if a need arises. While I currently don't offer overnight stays, I can do 10pm & 7am visits if your pet is agreeable with that, so you can get away! PS I don’t offer off-rover services. Thank you for understanding!

I’ve already left a review but feel prompted to leave another one after our most recent trip. Heather is everything we’ve been looking for in a pet sitter and more. We recently got a new rescue cat and he is still adjusting to our home and other cats. He is timid around new people and has some behavioral issues (mostly with our other cat) that we’ve been working on. Heather was so intuitive and educated in cat behavior the entire week we were gone. She not only kept an eye on everyone’s behavior but she took detailed behavior notes and separated them based on their cues. We also have a cat that requires meds and she isn’t always the easiest to give meds to. Honestly, Heather handles giving our cat meds better than I do and I can only hope to be as skilled as she is. We felt at ease the entire time we were gone, which is saying a lot since I’m a chronic worrier. I looked forward to the behavior notes and photos Heather was consistent in sending on time every single day. I cannot recommend Heather enough and we’re so grateful she loves our pets as much as we do. Thank you Heather!
