Growing up I had dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds and mice as pets. I have never been without a pet in my house. Currently we have three rescue dogs and one is a senior. My dogs are my family.💕 I take care of our friends dogs when they go on vacation and look forward to taking care of your pets as well. My goal as a dog sitter is to provide the best care for your pets so you can relax worry free when you have or want to get away.

While in your home my top priority is to insure your pet feels safe and comfortable around me. I always do a meet and greet before a sit to get to know you and your pet/s a little bit before a stay. I feel staying in your home is best as this is their every day environment which helps them feel more at ease. Please feel free to text or call while you are away if you’d like. I can also send pictures and updates as well.

Heather did a fantastic job taking care of our dog while we were out of town! He doesn’t warm up to strangers very quickly, plus he had some medical issues which caused him to be extra cranky. Heather let him warm up to her in his own time. She also had to administer several meds multiple times each day. When he wouldn’t take his pills with peanut butter (which we use) she found another method (plain yogurt) to ensure he got them. I highly recommend her!
This was my first time using Heather and it was great! My cat Katie did very well and she was loved on so much. I will definitely use Heather again!

Dates de la garde
I am retired now but I still want to remain active…So with animals being my first love taking care of them just makes sense. I have lots of time to devote to your animals and I will make them feel comforted and loved while you are away. My specialty is staying with your pet/s in your home while you are on vacation or if you might just need a few days to get away. I can also just drop in for a walk, playtime or a potty break during the day if that’s all you are in need of.
