Pet care experience
I've had dogs my entire life, and there's nothing I love more than working with and caring for them. I work in an emergency veterinary clinic and have been around all sizes and personalities of animals, and every dog deserves the same level of patience and attention to give them the best experience possible. As an animal biology major I am very passionate about working with and learning about animals, and I will ensure your pet receives the best care possible!

Heather was very nice and easy too talk too, she watched my 5 month old pup with lots of energy and he slept on the way home and when we got back!

I have a calm, 35 pound dog that will provide good company alongside me while also giving any dog the space they want. My yard is unfenced, however I have a long lead I use to give my own dog and others freedom in the yard while ensuring they are under my supervision and control. I would also provide frequent potty breaks and outside time as I know most dogs love the stimulation and fun of using their noses and exploring. Any dog I am providing doggy darecare for will be sure to get tons of cuddles and affection, playtime if they like, and lots of time to sniff and explore!
Information Heather S. would like to know about your pet
I would love to know any important behavioural/medical details about your dog. Any medications they need, what to expect when on a walk, and their general social behaviour. As an owner of a dog with an extreme amount of allergies, I would also very much appreciate learning if your dog has any sensitivities to any proteins or other sources of food that we could avoid!
A typical day
My typical walks are around 30 minutes around the block, however my dog and I love going to the dog park or on different trails in the area and I would love to do either of those with dogs in my care, with permission of course. I adore taking dogs out to play, alongside some basic training exercises provided the owner informs me about allergies, and what a dog is or is not allowed to eat.

Availability
I am currently only working at my job in the emergency animal clinic every other weekend, so I have lots of availability! I am a very active person and a lover of the outdoors, so walking dogs isn't a chore for me at all, I love getting outside.
