Hello, my name is Heather, and I am an experienced pet caregiver with over 13 years as a devoted dog owner and three years of hands-on experience in veterinary care. Although I have transitioned from the veterinary field, I remain committed to staying informed about the latest practices in pet safety and care. I have successfully trained multiple dogs and have worked with a variety of breeds, including Belgian Malinois and Akitas. My passion for animals drives me to provide exceptional care, ensuring the well-being and happiness of every pet I look after.

Schedule
I currently work full-time at a car dealership; however, my partner works remotely, allowing him to spend the majority of the day at home with the animals. The dogs receive full attention and around the clock care. We have multiple dog beds and water bowls throughout the house and always give your pet a safe space to decompress when in our home. No dog goes outside unattended and everyone is fed separately to assure 100% safety and so your pup doesn’t get into food that may not sit right in their tummies.

A typical day
I am passionate about providing both mental and physical stimulation for dogs through a variety of engaging activities. I enjoy playing mind-stimulating games and introducing scent work to enhance their cognitive abilities. If you have supplies such as KONGs or lick mats, I would be happy to use them to keep your dogs entertained. Additionally, I will throw the ball and engage in other activities until I feel they have had enough exercise. I adhere to daily routines and strive to incorporate the specific types of stimulation your dog enjoys into our schedule, ensuring a fulfilling and enjoyable experience during their stay.

- If your dog has any special needs or requires medication, please inform me in advance so that I can ensure their care is tailored to their requirements. In such cases, we may need to consider alternative arrangements, such as drop-in visits instead of boarding, to ensure a safe and stress-free experience for your pet.
