Availability
I own a small part-time pet care and training business on the side and make my own schedule- my dog guests rarely go more than 3 hours without seeing me! If I need to do a stint for a work client, I usually do it around lunchtime/early afternoon once I’ve fed & exercised the dogs in the morning so they can nap while I’m away. When I return, the fun begins again!

Pet wonderland at my place, I tell you! Cats and dogs alike. From my two-story loft with enormous ceilings, ground-level entrance & patio for off-leash romping, to the massive parks and beaches I live right at for walks and people/pet watching, to the fun rooftop dog-friendly patio, there is literally never a shortage of activities to keep your babes engaged and stimulated….I promise they will come home worn out and better behaved!

CERTIFIED THERAPY DOG/CAT HANDLER!
Pet care experience
**PLEASE NOTE:** -CRATE/PEN TRAINED DOGS ONLY -HOUSE-TRAINED DOGS ONLY -SPAYED/NEUTERED PETS ONLY -NO EXCESSIVE BARKING/WHINING -NO AGGRESSION ISSUES -I require a paid meet & greet/assessment before any doggy daycare visits -I require a booked/paid doggy daycare visit before any overnights -I require a booked/paid overnight before any extended stays -NO EXCEPTIONS ************* I am a certified therapy dog handler with two of my own 75lb mixed-breed working dogs (mostly German Shepherd). We do work with special needs clients in-home as well as at school, advanced care facilities & college visits. I was raised on a farm handling many dogs of all different breeds & sizes, and have experience with livestock as well. I am a firm believer in alpha/pack training management of pets (and most animals, for that matter!) We live in a large loft with fenced-in back patio for romping, as well as across the street from an enormous park with trails and beaches- dogs who stay with me are ridiculously spoiled! I occasionally have cats in my place, but as I mentioned, I’m very experienced with all types of animals- so you don’t need to worry if you’re not sure whether your dog likes cats or not. I am a pro at introducing/managing them all (as you’ll see by my profile pictures!) FURmilies who use my services get not only quality, experienced and very attentive pet care, but the huge advantage of free training with each visit! I make my own schedule as I have a small, part-time pet care and training business on the side- so I am home most of every day to care for your babes! No one ever goes more than 3 hours without seeing me. I live in a large loft with a fenced-in patio and great dog-friendly rooftop overlooking Puget Sound- it is a pet wonderland over here! I try not to be away from home much when I am boarding pets, but if I need to be, your pet must be ok (i.e. NO excessive whining/barking/howling/destruction/etc.) in its own separate room/pen (if it is older or well-trained) or in kennel (if it is young or still in training) for its own safety! NO EXCEPTIONS. Similar rules will apply if I’m visiting your home as well. Safety for everyone is first and foremost…we can review details when services get established.

Reviews

Heather is clearly an animal lover and was wonderful with our cats while we were away. She is super friendly, attentive and communicative and left our house clean for our return. We will definitely work with her again!

Heather is awesome. Her love for dogs is obvious. She was wonderful with my senior pup.

Heather has been a god send for me and Mowgli. I moved to Seattle from Texas in a rush as my new job wanted me in the office asap. She has been so helpful in our transition and also educating me on how I can best help my puppy succeed during this stressful event. She goes above and beyond and I will continue to use her going forward!

Wonderful sitter, super easy to communicate with and very attentive with my 2 cats. Sent lots of pics and videos, and left my home clean.
