Welcome to the Puppy Chill Zone! ***************PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING******************* 1) While we both work from home, if we need to step out to run errands etc. your pup must be able to be left alone without incessant barking or property damage. 2) Meet and greets are mandatory in order for us to accept a booking- we have them at our place so the pups can smell around and become familiar with us/our home prior to the drop-off. ************************************************************************ Our tranquil apartment is the perfect environment for your dog to really feel like they are on vacation! Days full of playing and long walks, with nights full of belly rubs from two attentive hosts who will make them feel at ease. We love sharing cuddles and snuggles on the couch to really make your dog feel at home. My husband and I are both educated professionals working traditional hours (8-5) from home Monday through Friday and will be present during the majority of your dog's stay. We live in a 4 story walk up. It is a very spacious 2 bedroom and sits on a quiet block with a short walk to nearby Astoria Park. We are conveniently located off of 30th Ave and 42nd Street in Astoria. This is an ideal location for clients who may be traveling in and out of Laguardia Airport. We take the pups on 3-4 walks a day. We allow dogs on our couch and bed (if you do!) and we don't crate them. We only have a dog gate to keep the dogs away from the front door and hallway noise. I grew up around a small herd of Australian shepherds and well versed in training or re-enforcing training if needed. My husband, Chris, spent most of his years loving and caring for a Boxer, Fang, and we both love doggie sitting for our friends and family! Heather and Chris took excellent care of our dog! Our pup is very shy, but warmed up to both of them very quickly. They were very attentive, sent frequent updates and photos, and we really appreciated that they offered a meet and greet before our stay. They are kind and responsible and their apartment is spacious and beautiful. We would highly recommend them to anyone.
After my first meet and greet with Heather and Chris, I felt completely comfortable leaving my 2 dogs with them while I was outside the country for 9 days. Heather and Chris were very friendly and professional and their apartment was very clean. They both worked from home which is also a huge bonus. During the stay, everything went smooth as expected. I will definitely be using their services again in the near future. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to board their dogs.

My husband and I both work from home; outside of errands or a few hours away, we are home almost the entire time with your pup.

Safety, trust & environment
We do not watch multiple dogs at the same time from different owners( 2 dogs that come together is totally fine!). We do not allow the dogs off-leash outside the apartment ever, and typically will avoid interactions with other dogs on the street.
A typical day
We play with the pups with whatever their favorite toys are (tug, fetch) inside. We do not allow the dogs off the leash when outside and do not bring them to dog parks. We take them for long walks around our neighborhood on the quiet streets with lots of grass patches to sniff.
