I love all dogs like they're my own
I have 20 years of dog ownership and dog sitting - fom 8 week old puppies to seniors over 10, from 8 pound Chihuahuas to 160 pound Great Danes and Mastiffs. Experience especially with older dogs who require extra care (using ramps and harnesses, using belly bands and giving meds, carrying them up and down stairs). No dog, or their needs, is too large or too small!

Heather is amazing! My dog, Comet, boarded with her multiple times, and every single stay was fantastic! She clearly loves and understands dogs. Comet would get so excited every time we pulled up to her place. Her backyard was a huge hit too. Comet is a high energy dog, and she got to run around and burn off energy, so I always got a happy, tired pup back. I never worried when my dog was with Heather since I knew she was in great, caring hands. I highly recommend Heather to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring dog sitter!
Ever since I met Heather over 10 years ago, I have known her to be a dog lover. She owned three amazing Great Danes who were the loves of her life. They have all since passed after having lived full and joyful lives; and while she has not owned dogs since, her love for them persists by taking care of her friend's best friends. Heather has watched my dog Barley numerous times during my travels (ranging from 3 days to 2 weeks). Barley always has a great time at her place. He gets cuddles, play time in her yard, and numerous walks. Barley gets full of excitement when he realizes we're close to Heather's house because he knows he will be with a friendly human with a sincere appreciation for dogs. She would be a great addition to your team!
Heather is an amazing dog mom and auntie. She has been a loving and dedicated parent to her own dogs over the years. She is the go-to person for her friends who need dog sitting, because she has a natural way with dogs and we know they'll be in good hands with her. I love leaving my dog Ophelia with her because I know both of them will have a ton of fun. I enjoy getting Heather's pictures of my dog while I'm away, looking like she's living her best life and not even missing me :) I usually get nervous when I'm on vacation and my dog is staying at a kennel or even when she's at home with a house sitter or a dog walker visiting a few times a day. I never feel anxious when Ophelia is staying with Heather.
Heather is quite magical and is loved by all animals big and small. Our pup is obsessed with her and we are pretty sure he loves her more than us. We have zero worries and it is such a wonderful gift to know our buddy is being spoiled rotten and having the time of his life when we are away.
Heather is a fantastic dog sitter! Our dogs adore her and instantly get excited as we turn into the neighborhood. She has a great backyard and a great dog friendly house. Heather is a wonderful human being and my favorite sitter!

Schedule
Currently home all day, and available for boarding any time. Free for walks other than Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings, otherwise no current standing obligations.

I have a fenced-in yard that backs up to a county park. I have dog crates to fit pups from small to extra-large (150+ pounds) as needed, if crates are not needed dogs can roam freely and enjoy the couch and dog and human beds as much as they like.
A typical day
The day will look like whatever your dog wants it to look like? Couch potato? We'll watch movies. Fetch? Have a big yard for that? 3 mile run? No problem! I have toys of all sorts, including puzzles and snuffle balls to keep the braniacs engaged as well.
