Intuitive Care and Communication
I see every animal as an individual, each with their own personality, needs, beliefs and opinions. I am always amazed at how open and Loving animals are--we can learn so much from them! My early life was spent working with horses, and as an adult I have cared for and trained both my own and my clients dogs for many years. I have a lot of experience making connections quickly with all different species, breeds and personalities! I truly enjoy spending time with the animals that are in my care, and I am just as enthusiastic about walks and fetch as your dog is! In addition to my many years of experience caring for animals, I am also practiced in communicating with them. I feel many behavioral issues can be solved through intentional conversations between humans and pets. These interactions build understanding and respect which makes for smooth sailing on the home front. I am dedicated full time to animal care, so when you book with me you can rest easy knowing that your pets are receiving the love and attention they deserve! It is also important to me that your home feels cared for, too. I am happy to water house plants, pick up mail, take out the waste bins, or tend to anything else that is needed during my stay. My ultimate goal is to provide a pleasant and fun experience for your pets, and to give you peace of mind that your furry-family and home are supported while you are away.

Heather was great! She was extremely flexible with our changing travel plans and she took great care of our dog, Lola. She kept me updated with photos every day. Heather did a great job!

WOW! If I could give Heather 100 stars I would. We have a rescue, Sawyer, who is rather large, protective and intimidating. Heather stood strong to his barking, commanded his respect, and took the time to earn his trust. We received text updates w/pics throughout the stay and my wife and I had a well-deserved, relaxing vacation. Already extremely pleased with the progress while we were away, Heather outdid herself as we came home to brownies, flowers, and a full report card on both of our dogs. Sawyer even gave her a kiss as she left! She was well worth every penny, and we are so grateful for Heather!
Heather took care of our FOUR large pups, our cat, and nine chickens. Oh, and our turtle. She was AWESOME. Great with the animals. Great with our home. Fantastic communication, including texts, photos, and a lovely note left for us upon our return. Not only that.... FLOWERS! Seriously? Flowers in our entryway and on our kitchen bar. Such a nice touch! We were thrilled with her work here and would hire her again. And recommend her to others! Thanks, Heather (& Rover.com!)
First time leaving my pups with a stranger, instant connection for myself and my pups at the meet and greet, instantly felt at ease with Heather. Heather was awesome she responded to my request to meet and all other communications in a prompt manner. Received a daily update and picture, house was left clean. looking forward to having Heather sit for me again.
Heather is great with Luca! He loves his walks and training with her! His walking skills have been improving after each walk. Definitely will continue to work with Heather for all my dogs needs

A typical day
Time I'll spend with your dog I love dogs, and I am currently not able to have one of my own. So to have the opportunity to hang out with some pretty cool pups is pretty exciting to me! I plan to spend the majority of my time with your dog while I am in your home. I am all about keeping your dog as happy as possible while you are away, and what dog doesn't enjoy hours of undivided attention? Extra house-sitting services I would be happy to help with small tasks, at no charge. I'm there to take care of your dog AND your home while you are away.
