I only work 18.5 hours a week spread over 3 days. I work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays. Mondays, my mum usually comes to my home and looks after my daughter while I either work upstairs or go to the office 5 minutes away. My mum has 2 dogs of her own that she often brings if boarding dogs get on with other doggies. If they do, this makes for a lovely play date. Tuesdays, I am in the office 9-3 but I have a camera that I check regularly and I can prepare lick matts, stuffed kongs and games to keep your doggy entertained. Wednesdays, I mostly work from home. I have a daughter so we are mostly in or around during the day and evenings. I have a camera in the lounge to keep an eye on things when we are out and about to things like swimming lessons etc.

I have a secure fenced garden. Home is very secure, I have plenty of rooms incase your dog needs time to themselves or I can use a crate if required but I would not do this unless instructed by owner. My previous dogs have had the run of the house but would sleep in lounge overnight.

Please let me know any specifics for your dogs. I had dogs with behavioural issues so I would need to know if they don’t like certain dogs or situations so these can be avoided. Let me know if they need feeding at a specific time/medication/if you like them to have baths or any specific skin/fur care routine. On or off lead walks preferred? I have a dog field nearby which I can book if dogs do not have good recall or if owners prefer to keep dogs on leads. This will give them the opportunity to run around freely in a controlled area.
A typical day
I am fortunate enough to live by some gorgeous country parks and some lovely woodland walks which are located 5/10 minutes walk from my house. We also have fields to play fetch and I will play with your dogs in my home. We have a variety of dog toys and a spacious garden they can run around in, we have sniff and lick matts.

I’ve had pets all my life, from cats and rodents to dogs and have always been an avid animal lover. I’ve had dogs continuously since I was 17, and they’ve always been a huge part of my life. Sadly, my two beloved dogs crossed the rainbow bridge over the past year, and our home has felt very empty without them. My family consists of myself, my husband, Alex and our 3-year-old daughter, Scarlett. We would love to welcome dogs of all sizes and breeds into our home to offer them a true home-from-home experience while you’re away. My husband Alex will also be taking care of your dog however, due to his long working hours it will primarily be myself. Alex is an animal lover and he would especially love to have dogs around since the passing of our own beautiful dogs. We have plenty of space for dogs to relax and have their own area, and our lounge camera allows us to keep an eye on them when we’re out. We have chosen to do this for the love we have of dogs and know how difficult and expensive it is to find good care for your fur babies. That’s why we don’t charge extra for the holiday periods. Due to previous experiences and for the safety of my daughter we will not be taking dogs who are anxious/have resource guarding or do not have regular contact with children

I honestly cannot recommend Heather highly enough! From the very first meet and greet, both Heather and her family were so warm, welcoming, and genuine that I instantly felt comfortable leaving my dog, Leicester in their care. Leicester had the absolute best time staying with them for the weekend and was so well looked after. Heather kept me updated regularly with messages and lovely photos of everything he was getting up to, which was incredibly comforting and reassuring while I was away. It was so clear to see how happy, relaxed, and settled he was with her. Heather is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and clearly has so much love and care for the dogs she looks after. She really took the time to understand Leicester and made him feel completely at home (I think he may even have been a little spoilt 🤭). I would wholeheartedly recommend Heather to absolutely anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and reliable dog sitter for their four legged family member. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again in the future… honestly, I wouldn’t want Leicester staying anywhere else now! 🐾

Amazing, felt so comfortable leaving Reggie as soon as I met Heather, received great updates throughout the weekend. Would highly recommend Reggie had a great time and I felt so relaxed knowing he was being looked after
