I am currently working from home trying to get my own little business on the go, so I have a lot of time for some love, walks, playtime, toilet time etc. I only really leave the house for the school runs.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced garden, open downstairs, and a nice big field nearby. We don’t currently have any of our own furry friends, but the nearby field is always full of others for yours to socialise with. We do have a medium sized crate if needed.

Information Heather P. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, has medication, or anything else you think I should know. Do they have certain areas they don’t like to be touched? For example, some dogs don’t like being touched on their paws. Do they socialise well with other dogs on walks? Do they like to chew/steal items in the house? Anything you could think of, please let me know ahead of time so I can prepare the best I can.
A typical day
In a typical day, I am able to walk your dog along the streets to a nearby field. There are many dogs here so there would be plenty of socialising. We can play in the house with toys, play silly games, and also go in the garden.

Pet care experience
I have grown up around dogs from a young age and had a cat when I was small. Both parents have dogs, and we also had a dog. We had our first dog from 9 weeks old, and her name was Sophie. Sophie was a Rottweiler cross American Bulldog and was amazing. Unfortunately we lost Sophie to Cushings disease in January 2024. She was only 7. We have taken care of dogs on my mums side, Murphy who has sadly passed now, and Barney the newest member of the family. Both who are Spaniels. We also have my sister in laws Cat, Rocco, who is a Bengal. We often have him when they go away, so this could be between 1-3 weeks at a time. We truly miss having our own furry family member, but we just aren’t quite ready for another yet. But because of this, we would love to help others out who are in need of care for their furry members. It would be such a privilege to give our care, attention and love to them. In our home there are 5 of us. Myself, my partner George, and our three children who are the ages of 11, 7 and 5.
Reviews
Heather and her family did a fabulous job of looking after Luna (our Silver labrador) for us whilst we were on holiday. They really treat her like part of the family and give her plenty of attention, walks etc. Heather also sent through plenty of pictures and updates. I can highly recommend her. We will definitely be going to her again soon.

Grundy reports he enjoyed his trial stay. He had fun and is looking forward to a repeat experience in July 🐾

Thank you so much to Heather and her family, Luna loved her stay and it's great peace of mind to know she was so well looked after, highly recommended and will certainly be boarding with Heather again

Heather and her family looked after Monty for 3 weeks. When we picked him up, he was playing and seemed very happy. Heather kept us up to date with Monty and also sent us photo's. Nothing was too much trouble. We will be booking Heather again in the future.
