I'm 36 years old, I love animals and recently got out of the Navy. My family has four dogs back home, kimchi (pitbull lab mix), Indy (German shepherd mix) Louis and Rene (daschunds), and three cats that we rescued (Jiji, Cleo and Smokey). In high school I worked as a kennel worker at a veterinary hospital for 2 years and love working with animals. I’ve spent some time volunteering at local animal shelters at different places I was stationed with the military. I really enjoy taking dogs on walks and hikes and would love to take care of your pets while you’re away. I’m available for house-sitting, drop in visits and dog walks.

When watching your pet, I’m there for your pet. If they want to hang out and do nothing, we’ll do that. If they want to go for walks, hikes or adventures, we’ll do that. I can accommodate myself to fit your pet’s needs.

Heather is an awesome sitter! I’m so thankful when she’s available to sit our dog; I never have to worry both she and our home will be perfectly cared for. She also sends very thorough updates, and some of the photos she’s shared with us are some of my favorites of our dog ever!

Heather did a wonderful job with our dogs! She sent photos and updates, and when we got home the house with in pristine conditions and both dogs were completely unstressed. I would definitely recommend her as a sitter and plan to use her again in the future!
Heather did a wonderful job with our timid rescue during our first trip since moving to the area. She followed instructions perfectly and kept our dog’s routine pretty seamless. She also adapted very well to some small changes about that plan as we worked through my dog’s separation anxiety. Will certainly be booking with Heather again whenever her work schedule will allow.

Schedule
I work nights from 8 pm-6:30 am, I’m off 7 days/6 nights in a row every other week, feel free to reach out and I’ll let you know if I work any of the dates you’re interested in. During a week where I work, I would be able to come back to your pet in the morning and feed them breakfast/either go for a walk or hang out a bit. Afterwards I would sleep from roughly 8:30 am-12:30pm. When I wake up at 12:30 I can offer your pet a midday walk/potty break/or just some one on one time. Around 3 pm, I may take a 2-3hr nap, but otherwise I will be free from 12:30 pm until I need to leave for 8 pm shift. If you have questions/concerns with this schedule I’m more than happy to answer them. When I am off I switch back to a normal daytime schedule will be able to spend the day/night with your pet.
