Pet-sitting is my only location-based work, so my availability is pretty open. While either house sitting or boarding a pet in my home, I am there most of the time, working on my laptop during the day. I will take your dog with me on short daily walks and occasional hikes.

I've been an animal-loving super-geek from waaay back. I have both personal and professional pet-sitting experience with dogs, cats, and occasional other small pets, including chickens. I trained a cat to walk on a leash and use the toilet, and have experience with senior animals, animals who need medications, and puppies and dogs who need basic obedience training. I work remotely, and am available for overnight stays in clients' homes or to board small pets, and daytime visits for pet care or dog-walking. For house/petsits, I will try to keep to the pets' normal schedule as much as possible. I can board small pets in my home. I live in a tiny home without a fenced yard, so I can keep small or low energy dogs that are okay with being taken on leashed walks.

Heather really gave her all to make sure Rocket was comfortable and happy with his very first boarding experience. She also recognized his adventurous spirit and successfully introduced him to some of the ranch animals! We thought he might want to stay with her at “ranch camp”, instead we were joyfully greeted by our dogger, eager to share his growing confidence. Wow!
Heather was great with my senior dog, Tala. Tala needed special care and meds daily and Heather made sure she always had what she needed and was attentive to her limitations.
Heather was an absolute lifesaver and kept my precious hound comfy and safe. Very conscientious and considerate and the twice-a-day text updates & doggie photos were fab.
