Pet care has always been a significant part of my life. Recently, I moved to Lethbridge, and while settling into this new community, I’ve found that my passion for caring for dogs remains as strong as ever. My beloved dog of 17 years recently passed away, and this has deepened my desire to continue working with dogs and providing them with the love and care they deserve.

What sets me apart from other sitters is my extensive experience and unique skills in pet care. I have a deep understanding and love for dogs of all ages, particularly senior dogs. Having cared for my own senior dog for many years, I am well-versed in the special attention and care they require, from administering medications to ensuring their comfort and well-being. Additionally, I have a unique background working with mushing dogs in Alaska. This experience has equipped me with exceptional skills in handling high-energy dogs and understanding their needs for physical activity and mental stimulation. I incorporate engaging games and activities into my pet care routine to keep dogs mentally stimulated and happy. My commitment to providing personalized and attentive care ensures that every dog I look after feels loved and secure. Whether it’s a playful puppy or a senior dog needing extra care, I am dedicated to making their time with me enjoyable and stress-free.

Heather did such a great job of taking care of our Lucy. House was very clean. We are very happy and look forward to having her come again.
Haddie (Heather) was exceptional. Her calm and clear way with our needy doggy was exactly what was needed! She took great care of our home, shovelled as needed, and was so communicative. I felt so fortunate when we got home to realize that our pup missed Haddie more than she missed us!
Heather was awesome, came and stayed with the animals. Can tell she loves animals and has a good sense of urgency. We have contractors in our basement and we’re concerned about the dogs getting out as they constantly leave gates open. She ensured they were safe and loved. Even brushed the dogs (even though they hate it haha). Would happily have her again.
We’re so grateful to Heather for looking after our dogs — she’s absolutely wonderful with them! Her love for animals really shines through. Not only did she take great care of our pups, but she also went above and beyond by caring for an injured bird that found shelter on our deck.
