Hi, I’m a lifelong animal lover who officially traded the corporate world for a career surrounded by dogs. I’ve fostered 8 rescue dogs, have two dogs of my own, and have spent years learning that no two pups are alike (and that treats are a very effective form of diplomacy). I’m a past- humane society volunteer, and have spent many mornings getting to know and walk new dogs. I recently left my corporate job to pursue a dream of working with and caring for dogs. So, I’m looking to fill my days doing what I love most: getting to know more dogs and making sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while their humans are away. Whether your pup needs an afternoon walk, a house check-in, some extra company, or an overnight stay, I’d love the chance to spoil them like they’re my own. I’m dependable, attentive, and genuinely excited to spend my days with four-legged clients. Basically, your dog gets a vacation, and I get to call it work!

Heather has always been so great when watching my dogs. She is attentive, extremely caring and gives plenty of updates during the stay. You can tell she genuinely loves animals. Would recommend her to anyone looking for a quality sitter!

Schedule
Pet care is already a big part of my everyday life! With two dogs of my own and years of fostering rescue dogs, I’m very used to building walks, playtime, feeding, and plenty of attention into my daily routine. Since leaving my corporate job, I have even more flexibility to spend my days caring for other dogs- whether that’s walks, drop-ins, house sitting, or overnight stays. I genuinely love having dogs around, so to me, my schedule can happily revolve around my pets’ needs.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety and trust are always my top priorities when caring for a pet. I treat every dog as an individual and take the time to understand their routines, personality, comfort level, and any specific needs before I care for them. I have a fenced yard, with plenty of space for secured off- leash play. I’m happy to accommodate crate trained dogs and special medical requests, to ensure your pets schedule, routine, and care, match their at- home needs.

A typical day
Our days will always begin and end with a 3km walk on our quiet road. Our dogs get 2 walks a day, every day. I love spoiling our pups with frozen kongs, and work on training for mental stimulation.
