I’m a recently retired professional with a lifelong love of dogs and a home that feels a little too quiet these days. For many years, I cared for my own dog, who was truly part of my family. After losing him about a year ago, I’ve found myself missing the companionship, joy, and daily rhythm that comes with having a dog around. While I’m not quite ready for another full-time pet of my own, I would love to open my home to care for yours. Because I’m retired, I’m home most (if not all) of the day. That means your dog will get plenty of attention, companionship, and supervision-no long stretches alone. Whether your pup loves walks, playtime, or just relaxing nearby, I’m happy to meet them where they are. I’m experienced with daily routines like feeding, walking, administering basic care, and, most importantly, providing a calm, loving environment. I understand how important it is to feel confident your dog is safe and well cared for while you’re away, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. I truly enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality and making them feel comfortable and loved. It would be a privilege to care for your pet.

I have known Heather for about 16 years and in that time, I have witnessed firsthand her love and concern for animals. She has owned pets for decades, is experienced and knowledgeable, patient, and thoughtful. Pets seem to recognize these qualities quickly, bonding with her soon after meeting. I am the kind of person who leaves a page and a half of instructions for my pet sitters! Heather is the sitter I trust to watch my animals for any length of time. I highly recommend her services.
Heather loves. Heather is kind. Heather has a big heart. Heather is VERY smart. Heather is a great mom! Heather and I have been best friends for 38 years. There is not too much I don't know about Heather. She is loyal, and has a home any dog would thrive in, and has lots of love and is ready to give much attention to your furr baby. Heather just recently had her favorite furr baby "Benjamin" cross over the rainbow bridge. I know she is not ready to have another dog replace her Benjamin, but she does have lots of love, to share with yours. She recently has had a shift from being in the workforce to looking forward to enjoying her life and spending time doing what she loves, which is painting and spending time with family. I know what kind of dog lover heather is and if anything would happen to me, she would be the only person I would trust to love my furr babies like I did, as her own. There are so many people that could vouch for Heather. Please know if you choose Heather, you would be able to rest easy knowing you furr baby would be in a loving environment and well taken care of.
Heather M watched our precious baby goldendoodle Ginger for us and was so awesome caring for her with walks, pictures and such professional and loving care..It is always difficult going away from your baby as you think about them while gone but Heather's care, pix and interactions relaxed us so we could enjoy our vacation..Thank you Heather!!!
