I am a retired professional who loves pets. I've owned and cared for multiple pets, including a wonderful dog named Jasper, two cats, lizards and fish. My two girls love animals, so we had everything. Now they are grown up and I would like to help families with their pet care needs.

Oscar spent the day with Heather and came home tired and happy. She has a very calm personality which is great for our excitable dog. Will definitely use Heather again.
Heather cared for our dog Benny for 4 nights in June 2026. I have known Heather for 30 years and saw how she cared for her dog, Jasper, and how she treated my 3 dogs over that time. She is a responsible, caring person and I trust her judgment. Benny was very happy to stay with her and we will become repeat customers.
Heather is great with dogs (and people) - easy-going, kind and patient, but also firm. She is reliable and responsible, and is a good communicator who responds promptly and efficiently.
I’ve know Heather for over 20 years and she’s my go-to person for all things about cats and dogs. Her gentle temperament and welcoming nature seems to jive well with fur babies of all kinds. Highly recommended.

Schedule
I am retired so have a flexible weekly schedule. I like to stay active so walking and taking care of a dog would be a pleasure.

Safety, trust & environment
I am quite sensitive to the cues that animals give us to communicate. I want the pets that I care for to feel comfortable and happy to see me and know that they are safe and cared for. One thing I should mention is that I’m not as comfortable with large dogs.
A typical day
Depend on what your pet likes. I know all the fun doggie games and can take them out on a walk. I've also taught dogs tricks like roll over, shake a paw etc.
