Hi! I'm Heather — a lifelong animal lover who has rarely spent a single day without a dog by my side. I've been caring for dogs my entire life and currently share my home with four dogs of my own — a 9lb Chihuahua, a 9lb Yorkie-Chi mix, a 50lb Lab mix, and a 75lb Red Retriever — plus a cat and some fish. Safe to say animals are my life! After losing a beloved dog who was poorly cared for at a kennel, I became passionate about providing the kind of attentive, loving care that every pet deserves. I know how much trust it takes to hand your fur baby to someone else — and I take that seriously. I'm available for drop in visits, dog walks, and house sitting. I'm comfortable with all sizes and breeds and happy to accommodate cats too. I'll always follow your specific instructions and send plenty of photos so you never have to wonder how your baby is doing. Your pet isn't just a booking to me — they're family. 💙

When I visit your home I treat it with the same respect and care I would want someone to show mine. I follow your instructions exactly — feeding schedules, medications, special routines, off-limit areas — nothing is too detailed. I grew up understanding that pets are family members, not just animals, and that the trust you place in someone entering your home is significant. I take that seriously every single time. You'll always receive photos and updates during every visit so you know your baby is happy and well cared for.

We thoroughly appreciate the care Heather gave our dog while we’re gone. We live far out and have some peculiar rules but Heather was a complete professional. She communicated on a high level and followed everything to a T. Our dog was well cared for and happy upon our return. He has some anxiety and she handled everything professionally and with love. You can tell she enjoys what she does. We will use her again!
Heather and I have been married for 20 years and would much rather travel with our pets than leave them behind, but it's not always an option. She understands the level of trust it takes to let some one take care of a pet you love so much. If you have anxiety over leaving your pet Heather is the one for you because she feels the same way.
My dogs love Heather and look forward to seeing her anytime I am away. She is very dependable and follows any special instructions regarding their care. She is our #1 for dog care.

Heather has watched our Olde English Bulldogge for us several times! She is an animal lover who clearly feels very comfortable around them. She will stick to the rules of the house when it comes to your dog. She is at the same time extremely loving and understanding toward them. Highly recommend!

Schedule
Pet care isn't something I fit into my routine — it IS my routine. I'm home all day with four dogs of my own, so visiting or caring for your pet fits naturally into my day. I'm available mornings, afternoons and evenings and can be flexible around your schedule. Your pet will never feel like an afterthought — they'll get my full attention during every visit.

- Before every first visit I love to learn as much as possible about your pet — their personality, quirks, fears, favorite toys, feeding schedule, any medications, and how they typically respond to new people. The more I know going in the more comfortable and confident I can make your pet feel from the very first visit. Please don't hesitate to share every detail — there is no such thing as too much information when it comes to caring for your fur baby. Please note that rates may vary based on availability and timing. I encourage you to message me before booking so we can make sure everything is a great fit for your pet and your schedule. For house sitting requests located more than 30 miles away, a 2-night minimum applies.
