Hello! My name is Heather. I'm a 30 year old Boone local. I have 10 years of paid experience as a pet sitter. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, cats, birds, rabbits, hedgehogs, turtles, horses, cattle, chickens, and ducks through ownership over the years. I have professional experience working at a dog kennel for 7 years. I have worked with special needs animals including diabetic, handicapped and elderly as well as newborn animals. I have a home with 40 acres of creekside land so I can offer boarding services for all dog breeds and provide plenty of interesting hiking, swimming and playing if your pet stays with me.

My dogs had a great stay with Heather. Heather was communicative and responsive over messages. Very positive first experience.
Heather was very flexible and accommodating. She made leaving our girl for a few days easy on us during a challenging time.
Heather has a great setup. Comfortable indoor space and lots of fenced in outdoor space. She watched my 2 dogs for a week (both rescues) and I had no worries about them being taken care of while I was away. She is friendly, calm, knowledgeable, professional and a true animal-lover. We will be back!
Heather was so kind and gentle with our energetic 1 yr old boxer. She was flexible with time, which is so appreciated. Our big puppy came home smelling clean and acting happy. Thank you! We will definitely use Heather again!
Heather watched our two dogs over our wedding weekend and it could not have gone better. She picked them up from the rehearsal dinner, brought them back for the big day, and then took them back to her place and kept them for a few more days while we continued the celebrations. She was responsive, on time, and very respectful that this was our wedding! She kept the dogs clean and gave them medicine as we instructed to keep them calm for the big day. We are so thankful we found her on Rover because our big day would not have been the same without her. She played the role we needed her to absolutely perfectly. We are so grateful and would definitely recommend and rebook Heather in the future!
Heather was absolutely amazing and so supportive when we had weather issues canceling flights home! She was wonderful to work with, and we hope to use her again in the future!! Our pups seemed to enjoy their adventures, and we so appreciated her kindness!

Programa
I work away from home two days a week and I am home otherwise, except during my personal activities of course, so I have room for flexability and lots of time spent with your pet!

I offer in home pet care and boarding. For those wanting to board, I provide a safe environment with lots of room. I have house with a large amount of land and safe places to walk and play. I have room and experience with safely isolating your pet if there are issues with aggression or if you aren't comfortable with your pet being around other pets. Potty breaks are provided every 3-4 hours for dogs and longer walks or play outdoors at least once a day weather permitting. I am well versed on pairing dogs for play based on temperament and other measures relating to age and physical traits. I have experience handling separation anxiety and other behavioral or complicated health issues, including those needing injections or oral medication.

Days usually begin with a potty break and play session for around an hour followed by breakfast. At least one midday potty break is provided A longer evening walk or outdoor play session is provided followed by dinner. Down time together is provided until one last quick potty break before bedtime.
