Caring for animals has always been part of my life, whether it be a family pet, one of my own or babysitting for my friend's "furbabies". I have a cat named Remy, but often look after my friend's and family's dogs when they are out of town, offering drop in and overnight care, so thought that Rover would be a good fit for me. Owning pets that have developed cancer, diabetes or more common ailments due to age, I am comfortable handling many special needs and medication administration.

Trust and respect are very important to me. To make sure I'm always on the same page with clients, I request that any care instructions are provided through the app or other digital format. I make sure to always greet client's pets with a smile, match their energy and treat them lovingly while with me. If I'm inside a client's home for any duration of their pet's care, I always make sure to leave it as I found it. I really enjoy taking photos of my furry friends and will always leave notes about my visits or any extended stays.

Heather house sat for us and our two large dogs for 8 days. We have a 12yo boxer with a very particular diet and a 4yo lab who is high energy. She took care of both dogs' very different energies with ease and was very responsive. She left our house spotless and sent lots of cute pictures. 10/10 would recommend Heather for your pets!
Heather did a fantastic job taking care of my cat Hector. This was the first time I had been away from him for an extended length of time, and Heather was amazing. She provided daily updates and sent lots of pictures. It took him a few days to warm up to her, but he was sitting in her lap getting lots of love before I returned home.
Heather took such wonderful care of my cat Belle! She spent time with her and followed my instructions wonderfully. I’m so impressed by how happy Belle seems since I’ve gotten home. Thank you Heather! I’ll definitely be booking with you again.
Heather was so great! She made sure my dog was happy and well-taken care of while I was away. She was communicative and put in extra effort to make sure Pepper got all the exercise she needed.
Heather did a great job taking care of my cat Harper! She is very communicative and sent great updates. Though my cat is often shy with strangers, Heather was able to interact with her and understand her well.
Heather quickly caught on to all our pets' quirks and their complicated feeding and medication routines. Our pets were happy and healthy when we returned after six days - and I think our house was cleaner than when we left it. I'd happily work with Heather again.

Schedule
My schedule is currently pretty flexible. I can accommodate most weekday or weekend care requests, welcome last minute bookings if I’m available, and also consider myself a bit of a night owl so generally have no opposition with most evening appointments.
