Every Dog Is Like My Child!
UPDATE: I am working from home full time now! I have plenty of dog beds, toys, and bowls that I routinely wash and rotate and really just need their food / treats and any medications. --------------------------- With no children at home, my two dogs are little fuzzy kids who receive undivided love and attention. They sleep in my bed, get unlimited kisses and belly rubs, love to go outside and romp in the backyard, go everywhere with me, take walks in various neighborhoods, and ultimately are given the highest status in my household. My love for dogs made me realize my calling was to help dogs in need, and I began rescuing unwanted dogs in 2010 and placing them in successful forever homes. Thus far, I have successfully re-homed over 60 dogs who were abandoned, and I hope to continue my efforts to save those who are carelessly dropped off at shelters and left on doorsteps in the cold. My rescue activities and love for my own dogs is what motivated me to seek out others who would like to have a safe, loving, caring home to leave their dog while they travel on vacation or are unable to care for them. Your dog would not be left alone for more than 3 to 4 hours at a time. I promise that your dog will be treated with the utmost love and respect as though they were one of my family! I also want to ensure that your dog is always safe and secure in a stress-free environment. As a result, I only accept small dogs who are sweet and friendly. :) Why I love dog sitting I have loved dogs ever since I adopted my first puppy as a child. As an adult, I began rescuing dogs and truly felt that I could not be happy if I knew a dog was suffering or in need. Meet my pets I have a large backyard with a 6ft privacy fence that is exclusively devoted to the dogs. About my yard I have a 0.25 acre backyard that has a 6ft privacy fence. I work from home now so I can let the dogs out frequently throughout the day. I'm also more flexible with drop off and pick up times. I have a fenced yard, and a pet safe home. I normally close doors to rooms not being used and ensure all food is picked up after feeding. I never open the front door with any dogs loose in the living room to ensure no one slips out.

Heather lives close by so location is awesome for us. She has cared for our 2 dogs twice now. No issues and always quick to respond with any questions. She keeps her home and back yard secure and I feel the dogs feel safe and cared for. We’ll be happy to use her again for our next trip.
Heather is the absolute best sitter I could ever have imagined for my dogs. My very elderly baby had a medical emergency, which Heather handled with calm efficiency, and great grace and compassion. I would trust her again in a heartbeat.

Schedule
I work from home, and I usually only go out in the evenings or on weekends so I have plenty of time to spend at home with your dogs. I like to go on walks and rotate who goes with me.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fully fenced yard and ensure that dogs are supervised when interacting with each other. I never leave without separating dogs from different families either in crates or in separate rooms depending on the dog's comfort level. Importantly, I don't open the front door until all dogs are placed in a different room to prevent slipping out the front door.
