I work full time as a virtual high school teacher, and have plenty of flexibility during the summer. My Riley has passed recently and spending time with dogs will be nice to do. I am now a proud dog mom to Hutch, a husky- shepherd mix. He's friendly and loves making friends.

I have a fenced backyard and a decent size house. I have taken care of dogs with fenced yards and those without. When there's no fence, I keep the pups on a leash. I never let my own dogs go off leash. I will love your fur baby as if they were my own. I will play and walk, and in the event of fireworks or thunderstorms, I will provide cuddles and distract them with my favorite movie- Jurassic Park. It worked for Riley.

If your fur baby has special needs, I will like to know, especially if they have food sensitivities, a preferred time for walking, or medications they take. I have covered medicine in peanut butter or cheese if that's acceptable. I also want to know if your dog is sociable with other dogs or if they are shy, so while we are on a walk I'll know if it's okay to approach a neighbor dog or not.
A typical day
I love to go for a nice long walk and will let the pups sniff to their heart's content. I also love to play fetch, tug of war, or if the fur baby just likes to be chased around with a toy in her mouth... Whatever they want to do for play.

Dogs have been in my life since I was kid. My first dog, Bandit, was part-Akita and part- Dalmatian. Then I had Riley, a mixed mutt and rescue, for 14 years. I have dog sat for my neighbors as a kid, and recently dog sat for family and friends, including house sitting so the pups don't have to leave home. I give the best head scratches and can play a mean game of fetch and tug of war (try to beat me doggos). I enjoy going on adventures and exploring the neighborhood and will protect my clients from any pesky squirrels and rabbits. I will also send pictures or videos and an amusing caption to keep you in touch with your fur baby!

Heather loved my buoys like her own. She customized their care to accommodate for my crabby 15-yr old and gave all four of them good scruffings every day. Even sketchy little Piqeaux the Chiweenie warmed up to her. It was gratifying to receive her daily updates and pics. Heather will be by furbaby-sitter from now on.
Heather has watched my puppy for me on several occasions now. She is always quick to respond, punctual and caring to my puppy. She treats him like her own dog and he is always happy to see her come! She has stayed with him for several days and it helps knowing he is well taken care of while I am away. A highly responsible pet sitter for certain!
Heather is an awesome dog sitter! Extremely punctual, reliable, dependable and trustworthy! She is so good with dogs, they take to her right away. She has such a way with them. When she stayed with my dog for a week, she took him on long walks every day, kept him fed, watered & loved 24/7, took good care of my apartment, and even sent regular photos, messages and videos about my pup so that we never had to worry and knew what he was up to all the time. He was in great hands! I will say, after Heather left, our dog was pretty sad without her!! She is that good—dogs will get attached to her. Whenever he sees or smells her now, he goes absolutely bonkers. 10/10 would hire Heather again. She’s our go-to. I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else with my doggo!
