Hello, I'm Heather! Back on Rover for 2024 after several years! I love living in Salida with my husband Josh. We’re both animal lovers and are currently pet-less. We love babysitting and providing a safe and fun temporary haven for your fur babies. We have 20+ years experience with large breeds, but love animals of all shapes and sizes.

Heather and Joshua took great care of my young, active pooch Lyla at their home. They made sure she got exercise, kept me updated with short texts and sweet photos, and they were kind and accommodating when I was running late. Lyla was clearly very relaxed when I picked her up. I highly recommend this lovely couple.
Heather and Josh were great with Evie! Lots of walks and lots pictures with updates.
Heather and Joshua were terrific with Molly!. She has some separation anxiety and they were very patient and made her comfortable. She had many walks and lots of p,any time. She had a blast!
She took such good care of our good boy. Will definitely reach out again when we’re back in Salida.

A typical day
We will do both at home playtime and walks! We play in the yard or the living room. Also we have a dog park nearby if your dog likes to play with other animals, I’m happy to take them there. I have a large vehicle with a safe transportation space in the rear of the vehicle.

I work at home full time, as does my husband! We also have a great backyard, and quiet neighborhood. Your pet will never be alone!
