We are very grateful to Heather and her partner, they took good care of my Aussie, even with so short notice. I can see he is very calm and looks happy. I’ll highly recommend them to take care of your furry babies any time. Thank you very much!!

The couple did a very nice job of taking care of our furr babies. They sent pictures and responded quickly to any questions we had. When we returned, the dogs seemed happy and well fed. The neighbors told us they saw them walking the dogs many times. They cleaned up after themselves as requested. The 3 stars are for how they lived in our home. Things were moved from drawers in the kitchen. It was a scavenger hunt to find my things. A clock was taken off the wall and they did not remember where they left it. They stated It was too noisy. Personal items in the spare bedroom closet were taken off the shelves and put on the floor of the closet and not put back. I’m assuming to make room for their own items. I did leave them room for hanging items. Framed pictures behind the guest bed were moved to the closet and not returned. We could barely open the closet on return as there was so many of our things stuffed on the floor of the closet. Someone clearly slept in our master bedroom which was not offered as an option. There was plenty of room in the guest bedroom with their own full bath. The couch was offered as an option when they stated snoring was an issue. Pillow cases, which were not ours were left on the pillows in the master, and a strange homemade string item was hanging on the headboard. They had guests over, which we said was ok, so we said nobody staying over and no parties. So, not really clear who slept in our master bed. They stated they did not drink, yet we found empty beer and seltzer bottles left in the garage and inside the bar cabinet. (We had no problem sharing what we had, but clearly they hid these empties for some reason) There were pots, pans and kitchen utensils left in my cabinets, which they said they didn’t recognize so they assumed they belonged to us. I gathered them and other things left and made sure to return them. (I’m assuming these were from their Thanksgiving guests?) Our can opener and a spatula were missing from the kitchen, as they took them thinking they were their own. After I asked they returned them several days later. We also gave them a remote and told them to park in the garage. Our HOA doesn’t allow trucks of any kind to sit outside over night. They stored their personal items in the garage and the truck was left outside many nights. We received a letter from the HOA about the truck. We know it’s a picky thing with our HOA, but they did not do that even after we told them. They did take very good care of our pets, but personally, as nomads, I would not have them stay in my home again. I may be too picky about my home and my things being moved about and not returned. This was our first time using Rover. Make sure to clearly state your expectations, not only verbally, but also in writing to avoid any issues.
