Pet care experience

I love all furry friends!!

I’ve been a dog owner for over 10 years and have had dogs consistently since 2016. I’ve owned two Huskies and currently have one, so I’m very familiar with high-energy dogs that need plenty of exercise, structure, and patience. Caring for my own dogs has given me hands-on experience with daily walks, feeding routines, and basic grooming. I truly love being around dogs and treat every pet like family, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while in my care.

Safety, trust & environment

Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow care instructions closely and make sure pets are in a calm, safe environment. I pay close attention to routines, feeding schedules, and leash safety during walks. I’m comfortable caring for high-energy dogs and understand the importance of supervision, consistency, and patience. I treat every pet with kindness and respect and aim to make them feel secure and at ease while you’re away.

Heather is great with dogs! She takes our pup on runs, to the dog park, and even on fun car rides. She’s responsible, caring, and any dog would have a blast with her

Schedule

I’m a full-time first responder with a mostly consistent schedule. I work Sunday through Tuesday and every other Wednesday from 12 PM to 12 AM. On my scheduled workdays, I’m available for morning drop-ins before my shift. I’m off every other Wednesday, as well as Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and on those days I’m happy to stop by anytime your pet needs care. I occasionally pick up extra shifts, but I always communicate clearly and plan ahead to ensure reliable care.

Before caring for your dog, it’s helpful to know their daily routine, feeding schedule, and any medical needs or medications. I also like to know how they do on leash, around other dogs or people, and if they have any anxieties or triggers. Information about commands they know, house rules, and preferred walking routes is always appreciated. Emergency vet details and contact preferences are important as well. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can provide safe, consistent, and personalized care for your dog.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
