When caring for animals, safety is my primary concern, followed closely by happiness and wellbeing. You can expect to receive daily updates, pictures and videos. You can also expect prompt responses from the moment I receive a request, during the booking, and even follow up messaging after the booking has ended. I make individual care plans depending on age, size and breed of the dog. Meaning that if your pup/s have high energy, more play time is necessary and allotted. If your pup/s are a laid back senior, then we spend more time relaxing. With safety in mind, I do crate dogs when I have to leave the home (no more than 2 hours at a time) and at night. Even if your pup is a perfect angel at home, sometimes, when in new environments, they like to explore. I would not want them to ingest or get into anything potentially harmful when I can't have my eyes on them. ALL DOGS MUST BE CRATE TRAINED PROIOR TO BOARDING IN MY HOME

Heather took the best care of my baby! He’s 4 months old so I was extremely nervous about leaving him but it was a breeze and he had so much fun the entire week. Already scheduled for him to go back with heather on my text trip!
We had such a great experience! Communication was always quick and easy, and we received photos of Cookie and Cream every day, which made us feel very comfortable while we were away. Both of them seemed to adjust really well, and when we picked them up, they looked happy and well taken care of. We also really appreciated the thoughtful handwritten card and treats for the dogs—it was such a sweet touch! We’re very thankful for the care and attention they received and would definitely book again in the future. Highly recommend!
Heather is amazing! This is our second time booking with her. She does so well with our 9 month old puppy and we always come home to a happy pup. She is great about communicating with us and sending us lots of pictures. Will continue to rebook in the future!

Schedule
I am a full time pet sitter and will be home most of the day. Weather pending, will we spend as much time as possible outside playing. When not outside, we'll be inside playing/relaxing.

Since I am home most of the time, we will be outside at least once every hour, even if it's just a quick potty break. When providing care in your home, weather pending, we would play outside/walk for the duration of the booked stay.

A typical day
It's important to give the same level of love, attention, and care to every animal as though it were my own. However, each dog has it's own individual needs, I am able to cater to whatever each dog's needs will be.

- I require up to date vaccinations (Rabies, Bordetella and DHPP), as well as proof of flea, tick and heartworm prevention. I would love to know anything that needs specific attention, such as injury, illness, behavioral concerns, any known allergies, and routines. I feed my dog a raw diet, so there's no problem feeding your dog/s a raw or any other specific diet. I do not have any breed preferences. Please pack 2 extra days food rations, just incase your pup needs a few extra calories, or you're delayed in returning home.
