Ever since I was little, animals have been a huge part of my life. Growing up on a small farm taught me not only how to care for animals, but also how deeply they become part of the family. I truly believe pets are our children, and they deserve the same love, patience, attention, and care we would give to any family member. One of the most meaningful experiences I’ve had was caring for my dog, Sophie, during the final year of her life after she was diagnosed with bone cancer. That time taught me so much about compassion, attentiveness, and the importance of making pets feel safe and comfortable through every stage of life. Caring for Sophie gave me extensive hands-on experience administering medications, injections, and following detailed care routines with patience and consistency. I understand how important it is to trust someone with a pet who may need extra support, medical care, or simply a gentler approach. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and farm animals with all kinds of personalities and needs, and I genuinely love getting to know each pet’s unique routines, quirks, and comfort levels. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, anxious, senior, or needs specialized care, I always strive to make them feel loved, calm, and right at home. I also own a small handmade pet accessory business, Lumber Puppies. You may have seen me at local art and maker markets throughout the years! Being involved in the pet community has only strengthened my belief that our animals deserve thoughtful, personalized care and lots of affection. When your pet is with me, they’ll be treated like one of my own, with plenty of love, attention, belly rubs, playtime, and patience. I know how important peace of mind is when leaving your babies with someone else, and my goal is always to make both you and your pet feel completely comfortable and cared for.
