Availability
Dogs receive regular potty breaks, supervised outdoor time, meals on their normal schedule, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Because I’m not away for long workdays, pets spend very little time alone and are part of our family’s daily activities.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is my top priority. We have a fully fenced yard and two friendly Labrador Retrievers who are used to having other dogs around. I’ve fostered and raised more than 50 dogs, including service dogs in training, and I’m comfortable managing different personalities, routines, crate schedules, medications, and introductions. Meet & greets are required before all new boarding stays so we can make sure everyone is comfortable and it’s a good fit for both your dog and our home. I want every dog to feel safe, successful, and stress-free during their stay.

Information Heather H. would like to know about your pet
Every pet is unique! Before a stay or walk, I’d love to learn about your pet’s routine, personality, favorite activities, any medical needs, and anything that helps them feel safe and comfortable. The more I know, the better I can care for them like they’re my own.
A typical day
A typical day includes morning potty breaks, meals, outdoor play, walks, enrichment activities, naps, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. Some dogs love to play with my Labs, while others prefer relaxing nearby, and I’m happy to adjust to each dog’s energy level and routine. I also send regular photo updates so you can see how your pup is doing while you’re away.

Pet care experience
Hi! I’m Heather — a stay-at-home foster mom, runner, dog lover, and experienced foster/service dog handler based in Batavia, Ohio. After years in corporate recruiting, I’m finally leaning into a life that feels a little more like me — being home with our foster son, spending more time with dogs, being outside, going on walks, and building something slower and more meaningful here in Ohio. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve helped foster and raise more than 50 dogs over the years, including service dogs in training, and I’m also a certified volunteer through the Clermont County Animal Shelter where I walk dogs, take dogs on day trips, and foster here in Ohio. Before moving here, I also helped watch and walk dogs for friends, family, neighbors, and foster connections in Minnesota. I genuinely love all breeds and personalities and really enjoy getting to know what makes each dog unique. Since I’m home most of the day, dogs here get lots of supervision, outdoor time, enrichment, walks, naps, snuggles, and attention throughout the day. We also have a fully fenced yard and two friendly Labs that love having dog friends around. I know how hard it can be leaving your dog with someone else, so I’m big on communication and love sending lots of photo updates throughout their stay so you know they’re happy, safe, and loved while you’re away.

Reviews
I cannot recommend Heather enough for your pet needs. I’ve seen firsthand how she cares for her own dogs as well as mine, and she treats every single animal like they’re part of her family. She pours her whole heart into them — you can feel it the moment she interacts with any dog. Heather has this rare balance of love, empathy, and compassion, paired with a calm confidence that keeps dogs feeling safe and well‑guided. She’s incredible at training and behavior, and she’s the first person I go to whenever I’m struggling with something with my own dog. She truly understands dogs on a deeper level. One of the most special things about Heather is her ability to form instant, genuine connections with any dog she meets! If you’re looking for someone who will love your pet like her own, keep them safe, help them learn, and make them feel completely at home, Heather is the person you want. Your dog will be in the best hands!!
Heather has cared for our dogs on multiple occasions, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is reliable, responsible, and genuinely loves animals. Every time our dogs have been in her care, we've had complete peace of mind knowing they were safe, well cared for, and receiving plenty of attention and affection. Heather is attentive to their needs, communicates well, and treats them like members of her own family. Any pet owner would be lucky to have Heather care for their furry family members!

Lainey had so much fun playing with Willow and Piper! She was exhausted when she came home from her doggy day care day (goal accomplished;) Heather is wonderful and everything that you could ask for in a doggy sitter! She even brushed Lainey with her furminator! Thank you!
Heather has loved dogs her entire life and I haven’t met a dog that doesn’t love her. ❤️ She has always had her own dog or dogs 🐶 who have been so loved and cared for and there is nothing she wouldn’t do for them! She has also been a foster dog mom to many dogs and has given them the same love as if they were her own. Not to mention she has helped ensure they have found great forever homes! Heather is an amazing person who is caring, kind, and trustworthy.
