Ratings and reviews
Heather was amazing with Leo. We could tell that he immediately felt comfortable with her. She was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend her to anyone that wants peace of mind when they leave their furry babies with a stranger. Will definitely book her again the next time we are in Tofino.

Heather did an amazing job taking care of my sweet and sensitive pup, Lily. She was incredibly patient and understanding, giving Lily the space she needed to feel comfortable in a new environment. The long walks on the beach were such a special touch. I’m so grateful for Heather’s thoughtful care and would absolutely trust her with Lily again!

Heather did an awesome job looking after our dog while we went fishing for the day.

My dog, Coco was enjoying the time with Heather when I had a fishing boat trip in Tofino. Coco looks like she was having good time with Heather on her walk. Coincidentally, we met Heather on Coxbay next day, and Coco recognized her with joy. Thank you Heather!

Schedule
I have the summer months off from being a teacher and am flexible with what I can offer to meet your needs. I can schedule early morning walks up until sunset. I can also accommodate boarding and doggy daycare. Note: I only watch/walk one dog at a time.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I adapt to the needs of the dogs I care for and communicate clearly with the owner before our walk or sleepover. My home is a garden suite, which backs onto a dense forest. My outdoor space is as large as my indoor space, which I keep minimalist and clean. I live steps from the beach and always keep a dog on a leash while walking unless instructed by the owner.

I love to go for long walks along the beach or explore the trails around Tonquin. If requested we can head to the local school field and play fetch! The outdoor adventures are endless and after living in Tofino for 7+ years, I know some secret spots your dog may love!
