Pet care experience

P'awesome quality care

Due to my current obligations, and to make certain I'm providing the best care paws-ible, I am only accepting new clients that are referred from my current fuzzy friends. Please send a message to me if you'd like to refer a friend! I've been caring for furry (and sometimes scaly) friends for 15 years! I've always loved animals and have a cat and a dog at home; I have some experience with fish and bearded dragons, and do well with written instructions for all types of animals. Complimentary meet & greets available! I have experience with providing medications (liquids, pills, topicals) for animals. I work best with calm, low-energy animals, but I also work well with animals who are energetic and playful. I’m not a good fit, however, if your pet has history of aggressive behavior (e.g., biting). I’m here to help! Whether it’s taking your pup on a walk, providing quality pet care while you’re away, or just being a friend your pet can chill with, I’m here to make your life easier and turn this stressful process into a worry-free experience. I look forward to meeting you! Heather

Heather was excellent as always. She shows up when she’s supposed to and gave Bella the attention and care she needed. Thanks!

Heather is an excellent petsitter. She went above and beyond for my family in some truly stressful circumstances. She gave my stepmom's cats tons of love, and took great care of them. She's the best!

Heather does an amazing job caring for kitty cats! We have been blessed to have her look after them. She is a great communicator and very flexible, also.

Heather has been such an amazing help to my stepmother in taking care of her 4 cats as she has been recovering from illness. Heather is attentive, helpful, and kind. My stepmom's cats love her.

Schedule

I currently work full time during the week, and have availability both before and after work into the evenings. While my job does not allow me to work from home, I can be somewhat flexible with my work schedule towards the beginning or end of the workday. However, this does mean I am usually gone 7-8 hours and unable to provide sufficient care for younger puppies that require more frequent potty breaks.

Heather can host up to 3 drop-ins per day
For dog walking, please let me know if there's anything specific you're working on that I can help with! For drop-ins, information including personality and general temperament is very helpful, as well as any routines or quirks - for example, my cat, Zeus, won't eat his food until he's been said hello to and properly greeted with pets. For house sitting, I like to have more information including: pet personality, general temperament, pet likes and dislike, training & experience, list of commands, past experience with sitters & strangers, aggression level, daily routine, potty break schedule, food & water schedule, treats, medication & medical care, allergies, emergency info, vet info, and emergency contact(s).
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
