I only board 1 Dog at a time, so they will get my sole attention and love while in our home! We (my husband, Jake, and I) do not have children or any dogs of our own- so your pup will be our #1!! :) Since our 17 year old cairn terrier, Sassy, passed 2 years ago we have not gotten another dog-- this is the first time in my life I have not had at least one dog under my roof, that is why I can guarantee to you that your dog will get all the love and attention it deserves from me and MORE! Ever since I was born my life has been surrounded by dogs. My house always had large & small dogs, always at the same time & all loved with every bit of my heart. Since I work from home with a very flexible schedule, I have the ability to shower your dog with all the one-on-one love, care and attention it deserves when we are together! (I do have some regular dog walks that I do through the weekdays that can have me out of the house for 2-3 hours during the middle of the day, but other than that I am home) I can't wait to meet your fur family!

Excellent service. My dog is a little more difficult to handle the average dog, but Heather and her husband handled it very well.
Heather took the time to meet with my dog before starting weekly walks. She was very communicative and quick and was awesome with my pup from the moment they met. I know my pup can’t wait to continue walks with her!
I could not be happier with Heather, she exceeded our expectations. I have had 2 other people, including close friends that frequent our home, attempt to take our our dogs on a walk while we are away with no success. We would place dog pads all over our living room because we knew one of our dogs would refuse to leave with a walker. Heather showed up for our first meet, and both my dogs immediately loved her. She was so gentle and patient with them. I received daily photos and updates on my dogs and there were no accidents. Heather played with my dog, Bentley and cuddled my sensitive and more needy dog, Arthur. She gave individual attention to each dog depending on their special needs. I am so glad I found Heather because now my husband and I feel confident leaving our dogs in her hands. I highly recommend her and will book Heather again. Thank you, Heather, so much for caring for our boys.
Heather is awesome. She's watched our cats three different times now and does a great job. Looking forward to working with her more in the future!

Over my 2 years living in San Diego Heather became like a second dog mommy to my little Molly!! Molly even got to know and be very attached to all of Heather's extended family! She always treated Molly like a princess and we will be forever grateful! One of the hardest things about leaving San Diego will be losing Heather as a dog sitter - she is amazing!!

All dogs are unique, which is one of the many reasons I love each and every one I meet! Each dog has a personality and day-to-day routines all their own- While in my care I will ensure that your dog's day-to-day routine is followed, if that is your preference. However, if your dog normally spends a lot of time laying on the sofa and lounging around and misses the excitement of walks outside, some ball fetching, or perhaps just laying in the shade in the grass- that is what your dog will have while in my care. I enjoy all dog styles: from the cuddles on your lap, to the lazy couch potato, to the non-stop "let's go, let's play!" types (and everything in between) I can and will accommodate their needs and make sure your dog(s) is happy, comfortable and, most certainly, make them feel incredibly loved. In terms of boarding your dog I would like to note that I am a very active person who loves to walk around my very dog friendly neighborhood. I live incredibly close to Balboa Park which has great walking trails and lots of open green grass to enjoy! Many restaurants nearby accommodate dog-friendly seating as well, so if your dog is in my overnight care rest-assured if they enjoying being out and about that is exactly where they will be, safe by my side. If you would prefer that your dog be kept inside for the most part, relaxing or playing some fetch with me inside our spacious condo or in our fully fenced/secure large patio, I am happy to accommodate that as well. (We are located on the ground floor level, with ample private outdoor space, the fence itself is 6 feet high and completely secure, there are no openings in the fence, the only entry to and from the patio is direct access to our home.) I live at home with my husband, Jake. For stay at home visits the dogs would be with us both in the evenings. He truly loves dogs just as much as I do! Unless couch's are a no-no for your dog, (which I will strictly enforce if that is your preference) I ensure you that your pup will be sandwiched between both me and my husband while a thorough petting ensues for hours on end.
