PUP RETREAT AND OUTDOOR ADVENTURES

Yay for Summer! Our little piece of paradise is located near Lake Lanier and Chateau Elan. In a world filled with no barking... no jumping ... no running.. we offer an off leash space to play and just be a dog. We are a family obsessed with loving on your pup. I work from home and love playing with fur babies. My pups love making new friends and yours will be too. We are a safe and comfortable home away from home for dogs. We have 25 years of experience with puppies to geriatric dogs...untrained and incontinent...very big and very small. We provide a place to play and a opportunity to make new friends in a backyard that is fenced and perfect for zoomies.

Heather and her family provided excellent care for my Garu; they were attentive and accommodating. I am a first-time dog mom, and this was my first experience with boarding. I was terrified for my dog, but they were so kind to him and wonderful for him. Every day, I received multiple pictures of my pet. I can't thank them enough for having my little dog, who can be a handful at times. He loved it; he was waiting for my sister at the door to take him to their home. He was a little disappointed because he was having too much fun at their home. I will always board with them; they are amazing people.

Overall, Onyx appeared to have a great stay. Chris was very pleasant, and I really appreciated that he took the time to show me around when I dropped Onyx off. They have a beautiful, spacious yard where the dogs can run and play, and I also appreciated that Onyx was taken on walks. As a nurse who works long hours, Onyx is crate trained at home, so it made me happy knowing he had more freedom during his stay and got to socialize with other dogs. I also appreciated receiving photo updates twice a day, which gave me peace of mind and showed me he was enjoying himself. There were a couple of concerns, though. When I picked him up, I noticed significant redness under both of his front legs that wasn’t there before I dropped him off. I’ll be having him evaluated by his veterinarian to determine the cause. I also didn’t appreciate the repeated back-and-forth about my dog’s breed. Felt like I was being convinced that my dog wasn’t what I said he was. Overall, Onyx seemed happy and genuinely looked like he enjoyed himself.

My first time using Rover was a SUCCESS with Heather! I was unsure and nervous about doing it, but I went off faith and it was the best decision I could’ve made. I texted her the day before and she immediately texted back agreeing to keep Rocky. She sent pictures and videos the entire weekend and Rocky seemed to be having the time of his life. I will definitely be booking with Heather again!!

They did amazing taking care of our baby, she’s a very hyper breed and can be sneaky sometimes but their backyard is completely secured and with plenty of room for her to run crazy. They did a great job of being attentive to her and keeping us updated. Cayce got to have a vacation of her own here and we will be coming back!!

Daisy was so sad to leave Heather's. She definitely missed her fun back yard, multiple walks but most of all, her doggie friends! I would highly recommend Heather to others!

Heather is absolutely 💯 amazing. She was wonderful to work with from the time of drop off to pick-up. We received constant communication via text, pictures and video. She is a pro with a heart for animals. Highly recommend her.

My 1/2 acre doggie wonderland, is fenced and safe We introduce dogs slowly. We enjoy the yard and a soft bed as individuals or a group depending on temperament. We will walk your dog at least once in a day, so dont forget to bring a leash. Your pup will lay on our sofa and watch ESPN. The outdoor space has motion activated lights and cameras, so we won't lose sight of your pup at night.

Pets

A typical day

Our day begins with a walk... breakfast. Outdoor free play.. We have nap time... then it is time for snacks and playtime. We play inside and out. We explore...they sniff and pee... Then we have a snack. We then have some sheduled chill to prevent overstimulation... some more playtime...dinner and another walk. Pups are outside atleast 3 times a day and all have at least 1 walk...Let us know if your pup requires a run or a bath and we can discuss additional services.

Heather can host up to 5 pets per night
Let me know if your pets have special concerns... I need to be made aware of meds... special food mixtures... or if they can't climb stairs... Incontinent... injury or disability...I can't give my best service if I dont know what you need. Please know, I separate new pet friends, and introduce them to the group when everyone is calm. I will not expect your pup to like other dogs. Boarding is a stressful time and it is not the best time to expect them to make new friends, with dogs and people they do not know... but we will try our best to make this a great experience for everyone.
