Pet care experience

Paw-some pet sitter/walker/trainer

I've worked full time with dogs for more than 8 years at a Dog Rescue Charity. Previosuly worked as a senior coach teaching dog training classes. I'm currently working from home full time helping dog owners with their dogs behaviour. I'm an accredited dog trainer with The Association of Pet Dog Trainers. I have experience with all sizes and ages of dogs, from Puppy to Senior and all personalities from hyper to reactive. Last year I had to say goodbye to my rescue Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Marley. I understand how important it is, to go at the dogs pace and to fill their lives with enrichment. I have a canine First Aid qualification and can administer pet oral medication.

Berlin had a wonderful stay with Heather! When collecting him, he was happy and full of smiles! Heather kept us updated throughout, sending pictures and letting us know about the fun they were having. Taking Berlin on lovely walks and adventures, whilst providing him with all of the tickles! She certainly gave him a home away from home. Heather got to know Berlin, and all of his collie quirks, helping him have the best time, whilst being safe and free to be his ever so slightly weird (but lovable) self. We are so grateful we found Heather to look after Berlin and would not hesitate to have her as our first choice for future trips! She knew that I felt anxious leaving him, and put me at ease! Thank you!

Highly recommend heather invited me and hope to home so she could get used to it which was really kind of her. She took amazing care of hope and kept me updated the whole time as I was very nervous being the first time my dog stayed anywhere. It’s such a relief knowing my dog was in good hands. We will definitely be booking again. Thankyou heather you’re amazing.

Heather was absolutely amazing with Pippa and we couldn't have asked for a better dog sitter! Pippa is a nervous dog and Heather took time to make sure she was comfortable with her, we took her out on a joint walk and sniff around her house first before agreeing to a trial weekend, and it all went so smoothly! She knew exactly how to make sure Pip was comfortable and as calm as possible and I fully trusted her to look after Pip. Thank you so much much for being so good with Pippa, you're definitely her new favourite person! X

We were so lucky to have found Heather. She was so amazing with our senior boy Marvel and looked after him like he was her own. She kept us frequently updated (even for a super short stay) with loads of pictures and messages. Can't recommend her enough! Thank you 🩷

Heather was just amazing, she is everything anyone would want from a dog boarder, whilst we were away Heather looked after Ralph, she sent daily updates including great photos, all showing Ralph having a great time and being cared for, we will definitely use Heather again.

This was the first time we have ever used Heather, and all I can say is she is fantastic! We went on a visit with our puggle Tilly and not only was Tilly made to feel welcome, we were too! The day came when we dropped Tilly off for her overnight stay, and like all dog parents leaving their dog for the first time we were apprehensive, but we needn’t of worried because Heather kept us updated and Tilly absolutely loved it, it was like home from home, she was allowed on the couch and even though we left her crate for her, Heather let her sleep on her bed with her. Heather and her partner are both lovely and we will definitely be using her again!!!
