I prefer pet sitting in my own home. I did just recently lose my dog of 6 years so I am a pet less household at the moment besides watching friends pets or doing drop ins.

Patient Care for Reactive Dogs
Pet care experience
Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, personalities, and needs. My heart dog was a 150-lb Mastiff who I adopted and cared for through his senior years. He passed away last year, but taking care of him taught me so much about patience, responsibility, and just how much love dogs bring into our lives. I’ve also raised a puppy from just four weeks old, so I’m very comfortable with young dogs and the extra attention they need. I can help reinforce basic manners and light training during walks or visits, and I always focus on making dogs feel safe, calm, and happy. Because my Mastiff was dog-reactive, I’m very experienced with reading dog behavior and managing situations carefully. I always prioritized safe environments and slow introductions, and with time and patience I was able to help him become comfortable meeting other dogs. That experience made me especially attentive and responsible when caring for any dog. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or just wants a calm companion while you’re away, I’ll treat them like they’re my own. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I take that responsibility seriously. I can’t wait to meet your pup! 🐾 Highlights: 🐕 Experienced with Large Breeds I cared for my 150-lb Mastiff for years, including through his senior stage. I’m comfortable handling large dogs and understand the attention they need. 🐾 Puppy Experience I raised a puppy from just four weeks old, so I’m familiar with young dogs, structure, and reinforcing good habits. 🦴 Reactive Dog Experience My own dog was reactive, so I’m very comfortable reading body language, managing safe environments, and doing slow, controlled introductions when appropriate. I also have fostered a very reactive girl, and within a couple months she was safely allowing pets from strangers on a walk! 🎓 Light Training Reinforcement Happy to reinforce basic commands, leash manners, and routines while your dog is in my care. ❤️ Attentive & Responsible Care I treat every dog like they’re my own and understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. What you can expect when your dog is with me: • Frequent photo and video updates 📸 • Calm, attentive care tailored to your dog’s personality • Clear communication while you’re away • Safe walks and close attention to surroundings • Lots of affection and playtime (if they want it!) Routine/Schedule: I try to keep dogs on their normal routines as much as possible — feeding times, walks, playtime, and any commands or training you’re working on.

Heather was great! I left knowing my dog was in great hands and would definitely rebook
Heather is great with dogs, especially the big breeds! Rest assured your pup will be loved, cuddled, and spoiled as if they were her own!
