What sets me apart from other sitters is the depth and variety of my experience with animals of all sizes and personalities. I’ve been around animals my entire life and have cared for everything from playful puppies to senior pets who need extra patience and attention. Beyond pet sitting for multiple families outside of Rover, I also own a horse and have been involved with horses for over a decade. Working with such large, sensitive animals has taught me responsibility, calm leadership, and how to build trust with even the most cautious pets. Because of this, I’m comfortable and confident handling animals of all sizes, from the tiniest kitten to the largest dog. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and specific needs, and I take pride in tailoring my care to each individual animal. Whether it’s administering gentle care to seniors, reinforcing good manners with puppies, or providing enrichment and exercise to keep pets happy, I approach every situation with patience, respect, and love. At the end of the day, my goal is to create a safe, trusting environment where pets feel comfortable and loved while their owners have peace of mind knowing they’re in capable hands.

Heather took great care of our kitty Dana while we were away at the beach! She asked good questions, sent us photos of our fur baby, and we returned to the house exactly as it was when we left. Heather is responsible and dedicated, we will most definitely have her back again!
Heather took great care of our dog while we were away on vacation. She was responsible and attentive, and made sure our pup got lots of love. Communication was great throughout - Heather even sent a few pics to keep us posted on how our dog was doing in our absence :) I would absolutely recommend Heather to anyone looking for someone to care for their pets!
Heather is a very responsible young adult and college student. She strives to offer the best care for the animals she sits. She has extensive experience with dogs, cats and horses. One of the things I like the most about her services is she sends updates and photos of our fur babies while we are away...sometimes Facetime! We would recommend her to anyone in her area of service!
