I work in a hybrid role - I need to be in the office one day per week and will update my calendar accordingly. Apart from that, I have a flexible schedule on most days, so just let me know what days and times you need and I'll try my best to accommodate what works best for you!

I live in a small flat with a communal garden - unfortunately, I feel this isn't enough space to have my own pets, as I would prefer to give them as much space as possible on the long-term. However, I'm happy to help out with any walking needs, dog-sitting while you're at work or away on holiday. I always make sure to meet up with you and your pet before we start, to discuss their history and needs, as well as house rules. For example, if they're a highly energetic puppy who's teething, I'll make sure to let them get their energy out by going for a long walk and making sure they have a toy or bone to chew on, or if you'd prefer for them to be out in the garden, etc.

Knowing what your pet is like ahead of time is super important - what their personality is like, how they may react in different situations and if they have any possible triggers, where they like going for walks most, their playing and feeding habits, if they need any medication or to be cleaned regularly, house rules, and so on... It's best to take as much as time as we need beforehand to flesh this all out before commencing but I'm also open to last-minute bookings if necessary.

This varies from pet to pet. More energetic pets often require more walks, play-time, attention and/or to be let out in the garden more often. Pets with separation anxiety may require a more calm approach and quiet environment that suits their needs and moods. I love being able to provide enrichment activities for all pets, such as engaging them with their toys, letting them thoroughly explore the sights and smells of their eighbourhood or favourite parks...

Animal-lover & critter-sitter 🐾
Experiencia en el cuidado de mascotas
I was born into an animal-loving household and have grown up alongside 6 dogs of all sizes and ages, a cat, horses, hamsters and fish. This is where my love of animals stems from and I've picked up pet training and care skills along the way, as well as knowing how to care for pets who have different personalities and needs. I also have professional experience with dog walking highly energetic dogs, dog-sitting and caring for stray dogs who were adopted internationally from the streets and have experienced trauma, worked with dogs at the RSPCA, as well as dogs who experience separation anxiety from their pet parents. Their comfort and emotional safety always come first to me. Although I have most experience with dogs, cats and fish, I'm open to caring for animals of all kinds. I'll ensure I get to know your fluffy pal and their needs well, and will do everything I can to create a secure and happy environment for them while away from their pet parents. I'd be more than happy to arrange a call or meet-up before to discuss their needs beforehand and to make sure we're a good match :)

Willow had another super day with Heather.
Willow had a super time with Heather. Would happy to book with her again.

Heather did amazing with my dog Rolo, I also received lots of updates that showed me all the fun and adventures they went on. Thanks again and would highly recommend.
Would highly recommend Heather. She’s looked after our dogs a few times now and we are always very happy with their care. They’re rescues with meds and other quirks but she does great and they love her. We receive updates which is very appreciated and Heather also leaves the house very clean! Thank you again ⭐️
